I think that's getting too complicated for purpose, though. So to stay on topic, I think Ash would be like a lot of people now; marriage is a nice gesture but it doesn't take the form of some sort of Mission Complete screen for her. To slightly break the 4th wall here, she does seem to be written pretty anachronistically, especially with her religious beliefs and general 20th century outlook/philosophy, so it really wouldn't surprise me if she was focused on marriage after a while.
I'm not too fond of a marriage ending myself, if it happens (what I doubt), I wouldn't mind so much, but still I would prefer otherwise. Nevertheless what Teclo wrote up there is pretty much my own impression. Ash is drawn as a more traditional kind of people, with her family bonds and her believe in God. As my picture of her goes, I'm pretty sure she would want to marry.
And just to put forth my 2 cts on marriage in general: I was one of the people who claimed marriage was just an outdated fashion and in no way necessary to have a functioning relationship (well, I still think it isn't). But occassionally I met a girl to whom marriage was something special, so we got married - and I was quite astonished how much more depth it gave to our live ... so, to all of you who think it's just a fancy celebration and forced by our conservative society: it's much more if you make something out of it. And to end this Ash-related: I like to imagine, that Ash has the same point of view about it and will talk Shepard into marrying her
Edit for clarity:
I would more like a non-wedding ending (if its done in a cool way) from a story-telling point of view, speaking as the story "consumer".
I would like a wedding for Ash, speaking as someone who likes her as a character (if she would be a real person).
