And now for my reply ... ©
I don't think she'd have a problem with one of her sisters joining the military. Sure, Ash can be protective, but she can certainly understand and appreciate the desire to fight - it's in her blood, after all, much as it would be in her sisters'. In terms of Sarah specifically, she also seems to acknowledge how her attempt to protect her sister was not needed - Sarah was able to defend herself fine on her own, and Ashley even expresses admiration at her hand-to-hand combat skills.

I think that any of Ashley's sisters joining the Alliance would be a surprise to her. I do not know how much rivalry that might occur, but I say Ashley has a head start for sure. Hey maybe the sister would get the same Drill Sargent as Ashley and Shepard.

Also I'm trumping Errol Dnamyx Ashley Image.

Yea I have Talking Ashley....just try and beat this.

i don't get it..why would it be a surprise for Ash that other members of her familly wanted to join the military ?her familly is in the army for generations...if anything... it would be more surprising if someone didn't join the army from the Williams family

Well there is the whole thing with their family being blacklisted. Although, that might give them some drive to change that.

From the way Ashley talks about her sisters, I don't think she would have suspected any of them of even being interested in joining the military.  So, in that respect, it would probably be a surprise to her.  But their motivations wouldn't be surprising.  That said, I can see her worrying about them all the time...it's just what big sisters do, lol.

Oh my goodness, Williams girls sibling rivalry? All the men in the universe would have to run and hide.=]

by the story Ash tells about Sarah,i thought Sarah was already in the military....i think she said they all had some training before or smth like that

They all had some self-defense training, but only Ash had military style training. My thought was that Ash's success in stopping Saren and subsequent positive impact on the Williams' reputation might even inspire a sister or two to follow a similar path and also open doors to make that more likely to occur, possibly even active recruitment from the military.

Sorry for the double post.  I'm using an unfamiliar and very wonky wireless network.

The woman in this commercial would make a perfect movie version of Ashley in my opinion. What do you guys and gals think?

No Sarah is the youngest of the Williams sisters, she was still in high school during Mass effect 1 (thanks to Badpie for the upload: http://www.youtube.c.../12/ilSsIqesL_A)

There father made sure all his daughters had some form of self defence, but Ash is the only one with military training.

She looks and sounds okay, but she looks a tad bit slightly older than Ash. But make-up can do wonders  I suppose.Posted Image

We have also done a few recommendations in the group, we have a topic dedicated to it.

Maybe in the epilogue.

A Galaxy under siege by limitless swarms of hyperadvanced omnicidal robot killing machines

is no place to raise babbies.

And that´s why the reaper threat must be dealt with ASAP.

Yes. The sole reason. I've always been in favor of kids. However not in the game or anything, that's just rediculous.

What job do you think Ash would do in the modern military (Western military's, US, Canada, UK, France, Germany etc.) Because women can't serve as Infantry?

I can see Ash as a combat engineer or something like that, maybe artillery. She would still be able to take the fight to the enemy, and she get's to blow a ton of sh*t up

My reason for this answer? Even if she cant be infantry, I'm sure Ash would want to be in the thick of the battle, and not on-base 24/7.

I agree with aritillery or combat engineer.

I could also see Ash as a combat medic seeing as she has a first aid skill, she still gets to fight, but she also has a additional role, taking care of the wounded. I could also see her as a military police officer.

I don't know, I just can't see her outside some kind of ground-based role.  Not to mention that as a fighter pilot, Ash would be separated from her boomstick.

She'd just have extra-large boomsticks.:) Or she might name her plane "Boomstick".^_^
