Hey all, I just thought I would drop this in so that all the Ash fans could take a look. It was my theory on how the 'Virmire Survivor' DLC could accommodate both parties (I.e people who did romance and people who didn't) essentially it involved a main 'canon' ending and an additional ending for those who did romance. I used Ashley for obvious reasons, as my example:
"Maybe to accomadate those who didn't romance Ashley/Kaiden there can be the main ending of the mission where Ashley/Kaiden salute Shepard in a friendly way before leaving on an Alliance shuttle but also for the benefit of those who did romance them an additional scene in which they return, briefly, on the Normandy to have some extra time with Shepard. Like time to themselves sort of time.
I mean I remember Badpie put up a fan fiction a while back where Ashley and Shepard are having an awkward conversation and she is soon going to be taken via shuttle back to Alliance space but in the meantime they try to talk it through and ponder what kind of a future they have and, as expected, their emotions get the better of them and they end up making love.
After which Ashley leaves and there is still that ambiguity about what the future holds but it still ultimatley ends on a hopeful note."
So yeah that's a way I'd like to see the Virmire Survivor DLC (if it comes to be) end. What does everyone else think?
That way Bioware could give Ash and Kaiden fans the romance scene they miss while still being able to keep the future ambiguous for Mass Effect 3. I reckon that could work perfectly.
