I dont really know why Ashley was mad about Cerberus, I made it clear I was just working with them for a little (until Collector threat is gone) and I wasnt even working with them, they just funded me. I screwed over TIM every time I could.

.

We have to look at it from her perspective. Ash knows nothing about the Lazarus project, as far as she knows Shepard has been working for Cerberus for the past two years, in the time she spent grieving Shepards death. She is confused, she dosnet know how he could be alive, how he could have surivived the destruction of fhe Normandy. And then she gets reports about Shepard working for Cerberus, a organisation of extremists, a group she (side by side with Shepard) fought against .

I think instead of being mad at the VS more people should consider the VS point of veiw. Shepard was there lover/good friend, and they dont know the full story. It's harder when Shepard can try and act like nothing happend ''It's been to long, Ash''' I actually felt like Shepard was gonna get a punch, and he would have deserved it.

QFT.
Good analysis.

I see your point, I cringed when Shepard said that too. But I explained I was in a coma for two years and Garrus was trying to talk to her too. But it was the lack of good dialogue for Shepard that screwed up the situation, you're right.

Tell me about it, At first, I thought, "Really? That's just it? Was this BioWare's way of just phasing the character out to clear the slate for new romances -- where's the depth in that?" I have faith that Drew Karpyshyn does better writing than that.

As far as I'm concerned, if space hammy wants a bigger room - Jacob is the one to go. No questions asked.

Ouch, jeez, that's a little harsh.

The maintenance of Shep & company's armory is a sensitive position. I like Jacob, but if I had to stick him in with Thane in life-support to have Ash in the armory--no hesitation.B)

Also, 'space hammy', what?

I still don't see why both of them couldn't be in the armory. They can take shifts because that's alot of guns to work on, I'm surprised Jacob was able to keep them all maintained since he was working for 12 sets of loadouts. Pkus it'd be nice for Ashley to see the good side of cerberus, basically the only good side is Jacob and Miranda.

No just Jacob really, Miranda is cold and calculating like Cerberus.
Also does anyone think that romancing Kelly to the point where she feeds the fish will have ill effects in ME3?

As I understand it, it's possible to get Kelly to feed the fish without completely romancing her. The diner with her could have just been between friends and was not necessarily romantic.

As for possible effects for ME 3, wasn't there a dev who said that the game saves whether Kelly was in Shepard's cabin? I'm not sure if this referred to the dinner or inviting her to dance and cuddle though.

Huh, don't think she'd have too many problems with Ken and Gabby.

I understand why Ashley would be mad considering all the Cerberus messes I cleaned up in ME1. The frustrating thing about the whole Horizon incident is that I was allowed to explain myself in any way other than "Cerberus aren't the bad guys here" or something to that effect. Couldn't we have gone to dinner and talked for a while or something?

My personal feelings aside I think Ash would get along with Jacob. And Zuess I think you a right about Ken and Gabby, I also think she would get along with most of the crew. Though I think Miranda would be a hard sell it seems to ME that she feels Cerberus can do no real wrong, places going rouge not being Cerberuses fault.
@ADLegend21: I think you are correct they did catch heck for that.

Yeah I dont think her and Miranda will get along at all, like Ash and Liara but Miranda isnt as naive and kind as Liara. Who knows maybe a fight akin to Miranda and Jack will break out between them. They are total opposites of each other.
Also I doubt that dinner with Kelly will have any repercussions do to the fact it was one "date". At least that is what I hope...

I would really like just an annoucement of a VS DLC before Christmas, as a way of being happy and content. Decent DLC takes time to make, and if it's the same quality as LotSB, then it will be worth the wait. Even if they announce it next week, to launch in Feb next year for example, it's something to look forward to. Right now, ME2 is sitting idle on my hard drive, taking up space as I wait for more DLC. It just would be nice to know what is going to happen for the future of ME2 DLC.

What do you think a good Ash/Kaidan DLC would be about? Maybe new Alliance prototype weapons as bonus content and a place where you could converse to Ash/Kaidan anytime like on the Normandy or on the Citadel somewhere.

I could see it being some kind of "pirate take-down" with either the VS or Hackett calling you in to help.

I wouldnt mind Hackett calling you to help Ash/Kaidan fight off a batarian pirate invasion somewhere. Though I think the DLC is themed towards setting something up for ME3 so maybe have a big reveal at the end or something.

They could possibly have some sort of court marshal scene where you have to explain your Cerberus affiliation to Alliance leadership as DLC. It would be easy to sneak in a Virmire survivor reunion in there. During the trial, an emergency can come up where [insert bad guys] are trying to attack [insert location] and Shep and the Virmire survivor are the only ones who can handle it because of [insert reason].

Although this is pretty much a good idea, I will admit that the "[intert ___]" parts made me laugh...mostly because I feel that a lot (if not all) of the recruitment missions essentially functioned on the premise of "show up, shoot, recruit."

Haha, ouch! Yeah, the recruitment/loyalty format needs to be done away with.

Erm, she is just feeding your fish.
As far as I know, it will only have consequences, if you invite her to your quarters after the Collecor Base mission. (A dev once said that this action is saved in your file and will be carried over to ME3)

Also, Jacob is dead in all but one of my playthroughs, since Ash is going to replace him. *nod*
I don't think I'm going to miss him.

I did not find most Loyalty missions that bad. I'm just not sure how they could even use that in ME3 as we may only get two (min) more squadmates. VS and Liara at least will make some comeback in ME3. How they may tie loyalty missions to Ash or Kaidan is hard to say, I guess it will depend on a VS DLC (if we get one.)

Most of the recruitment/loyalty mission were throwaway, there were only a couple I thought really stood out and deserved the attention. Any "loyalty" mission related to Ash/Kaidan should be for advancing the Alliance/humanity storyline which heretofore has been left in the dust. "Loyalty" shouldn't be an on/off switch, it should be the product of the story moving forward in one direction or another.

Yeah that template was definitely tongue and cheek, but if there is going to be a Virmire survivor DLC, there needs to be some serious boomstick time.

Guess that means Ashley is stealing my M-920 Cain. Still I do not think that is a big enough Boomstick for Ashley.
