I hated how Bioware kept saying:
No really Cerberus is not all that bad.... please ignore the corpses in all the closets. And all the dead children under the rugs from Teltin. Dont look in the freezers those are the marines they killed.

Also dont check under the beds thats where we keep our anti-alien literature.

Dont look there thats where we torture innocent people for CERBERUS POWER!
I MEAN HUMANITY POWER!

By the end of ME2 I was almost giddy when I flipped them the bird and blew that base up in his face. Nice try bioware and TIM but the day I do anything to support incompetent pro-human extremists is the day someone shoves a fence post through my skull and replaces my brain with the Cerberus manifesto.

And you'd be blind if you believe the Alliance, the Turians and such don't have those skeletons in the closet either. Though this thread is about Ashley, not Cerberus. :P

Everyone has skeletons in their closests... Cerberus just likes to parade them about in the open for all to see.

Though you're right. This is a thread about Ashley. Hopefully Bioware gives us a 'wtf' face when Ashley joins us in ME3. You know, for the Talimancers because of the dead Squadie from ME2.

Dont trust any group of people with power, or any big goal.
Like Emperor Palpatine said: "All who gain power, are afraid to lose it"

Ashley deserves a real man, a renegade man.

Honestly, I ended up using a (mostly) Renegade Shepard to romance Ashley because I felt she would be most able to handle one. Tame the beast, Ash! XD

...That being said, I'm expecting some...complications when they reunite. I'm not surprised Ashley (and Kaiden) isn't crazy about the idea, but hopefully I can convince her I'm only doing what needs to be done, without pushing her away.

Exactly. I've said it soooooo many times. The most frustrating part of ME2 is the fact that you're not even allowed to fully explain yourself to Ashley. It will come together in ME3 though, I'm sure of it.

You would hope, wouldn't you. I think the writers did this on purpose, making it almost unattractive to stay true to your ME1 Virmire Survivor LI. I didn't fall for it. Ashley will be there for me in ME3.

Yeah thats pretty much it. They wanted to get people interested in the new LIs. Though Ash is still awesome, she'll come around.

They want more of their Importers to cheat on the VS LI for ME3 since they said there would be consequences for doing so.

To be fair... Liara was totally okay with sharing Shepard with others. She even wanted a threesome with Shepard and Ashley/Kaiden. I'm surprised Kaiden didn't jump on that oppertunity.

Liara confused me in ME1.

Shep: Yes Ash/Kaidain are special to me.

Liara: Well what about with me?

Shep: I um just really want to be friends.

Liara: QQ.

Really if someone says I really really like this person, and then you ask well what about us, after talking to them... twice I dont understand that at all.

Still I did enjoy Liara's romance.

Give Kaidan credit. Ash's, *ahem*, rebuttal is a golden slice of sarcastic win!

I would like to remind everyone that this topic is about Ashley (for the love or Hate (prefer no hate)). I have started to see more off topicness here on the support forum. If you have any off topics please use the Off topic link in the OP or my Sig. I would prefer not having to setup a new "The 'official' Ashley Williams support thread 1.2" forum and start all the lost topics again, on top of a low post count.

So please keep it on topic about Ashley.

Hey Ash thread. Still confident that the next major DLC will be the survivor stuff, and since Thankgiving is only a couple of days away (here in the USA) and then Christmas rolls around, it got me to thinking:

Would Ash be a midnight Christmas present girl or a Christmas morning person? After all, we know she is a Christian, so she celebrates the holiday, I imagine the commercial aspect comes into play as well.

Goofy topic? Yeah probably, but I am bored at work, help me out here. :)

Good point.  She mentions "God" and little else.

She could be a follower of any monotheistic religion.

Or a person who simply thinks there is a god and believes that.

I can only imagine the ragesplosion if Bioware pointed out that she was a member of ONE religion over another.

On another Ash related note I honestly to admit that I hate the end of ME1 now because I know what happens in ME2. Every moment of awesome is downgraded because I know Horizon is coming.

I'm sure you've already left work, but yeah XD

It's a safe guess that she is, though since she makes no direct reference, you can't be 100% sure. Belief in God, simply referred to as such, and belief in an afterlife narrows it down.

Not that that vagueness stops people from calling her a "Bible thumper", which I find hilarious.

Christmas isn't exclusive to Christians, not anymore, anyway. Ashley...I would guess that she'd open one present at Christmas Eve, but save the the biggest and/or most awesome one for the morning. Kind of like that "I love you" that my manShep is still waiting for...

As for DLC...shoot, I just don't know. I'm guessing LoTSB will not be the last of it, considering Witch Hunt was advertised as the final part for Dragon Age. Some satisfaction involving the VS would sure be nice, though, after the main part of ME2 left us empty handed in that department.

It's amazing how quiet BioWare has been concerning new ME2 DLC. Not a whiff of anything, even though there seems to be a growing call for VS DLC to bridge things into ME3. It would be interesting to know what Kimberly Brooks, Ashley's VA is up to these days. For all we know, maybe she had recorded stuff for a DLC, but it's all being kept hush hush.

I think Christmas with Ash would be a very intimate close type of thing, with family. That soft side we know and love would come out, and she'd probably let her hair down as well. If ever there was a perfect time for the Shepard and Williams familes to get together and know each other, Christmas would be it.

I like to thing that Ash would get the smallest physical present of the lot, but the value of that gold and platinum ring would be the most precious thing by far. Would be fun to propose to her in front of both families, watching her stumble for a response before saying yes.

Yeah cause i can't stand to see that LOTSB was a final product even though Bioware said it wasn't but no word on any new DLCs for ME2. It feels like they really don't give a damn about us players despite they say they do but they don't show it. All they care about is the release of DA2 and ME2 for PS3 and that's what really grinds my gears. <_<

With the PS3 port around the corner, I have to imagine DLC has been put on hold until then.

I'm sure they're still working on DLC just not releasing any new publicy untill after the PS3 version hits.
