As for that forum asking whether or not Ash could be more attractive... I think there are a lot of people with skewed ideals about what women should look like, especially in games. Ash is very attractive, and she's attractive in more of a "real person" way. As much as I came to grudgingly respect Miranda in ME2, I can't say the same thing about her.
Yvonne would like to have a word with you
hehe...Miranda is the only one who got her face after the VA i think...and well she is more of a "real person" look....but really...Ashley is looking good as it is...threads like if she can be any hotter really have no point
Everyone knows that TV and movie stars aren't real. They live in practically another dimension compared to people like us.

Ah yes, the Omega-5 relay. Nobody has ever returned.
On topic though, I hope that Ash and Femsheps can have that girls night out Ash mentioned in Flux. Maybe bring her sisters

One of my favorite moves is to have Miranda use slam on someone, then knock that person down again with a concussive shot when they're getting back up. Doing that brings me great joy.

Miranda is pretty useful, but...considering I'm pretty "meh" with her and I'd rather not watch her wriggle those inflated hams straight into a missile's sights, I generally swap her out for Samara once she learns Reave. I tend to mix it up a lot, but...in the sequel, at least, she and Garrus are my ideal team. Of course I still have a spot for Ash if she wants to come back...I sure hope there's more room for banter, because if Ash/Kai come back and assuming Garrus and Tali stick around, that could make for some great funny-awkward times. Really, I would just love to hear what they'd have to say about my current team. Ashley, I imagine, would have some choice words for some of them.
It'll take some time for her to get used to working with Cerberus people, even if they're ex-Cerberus. Plus, even a lot of the non-Cerberus members of the current team are people who make their living on the wrong side of the law, and Ash generally seems like someone who's more "play by the rules."
I really like Kasumi as a character, but I'm not sure Ash would be thrilled with having a professional theif on the team. I imagine it might taker her some time to warm up to Jack, too, though the fact that Ash would likely share her distrust of the Cerberus people might help. And I somehow doubt that Ash would buy into Thane's logic about how he's not responsible for all of his assasinations.
Then, of course, there's Legion... THAT'S going to take Ash by surprise. And, sadly, I'm sure she'll be hated by a large chunk of the fan base for having a perfectly normal reaction to seeing a Geth walking around on the ship.

Legion: This platform has anticipated meeting you, Ashely-Gunnery Cheif.
Ashley: Shepard, why's this Geth talking to me? *reaches for pistol*
I'd imagine it'd be the same as when you bring Legion on tali's recruitment mission and she shoots at him or Ashley might use logic seeing that Legion's on the ship that Shepard trusts a Geth. Ashley might have some choice words for the cerberus (or ex-cerberus) crew since most of them came from the Alliance to be on Shepard's crew, she'd have some issues with them jumping ship from the alliance to join Cerberus but then acknowledge that if Shepard trusts them that she does too....or You know they all oculd have been processed and there could be no crew besides Joker EDI and Chakwas.

Well, remember that even Tali took it well.

I feel that, even if she quite the Alliance to join Shepard (can't be sure of what she'll do in the third game), she'd still expect there to be some...boundaries. Where is the line drawn, she might ask, just the principle of the thing might infuriate her. She would...need some talking to from Shepard, at first. I expect she'd have to get some things off her chest before accepting so much. Because it does seem like an awful lot for her to take in.
Of course...I could think of a thousand perfectly sound reasons for Ash to be uneasy with Legion, but people would still be mad at her. Legion has his moments and...he's popular, for reasons I don't quite understand.
Regarding the model, I had no idea her face was based on anyone! I always hear about Miranda's and the two asaris' models, so I had just assumed they were the only ones and the others were...fabricated.

I just figure Ash would require a lot more getting used to. Assuming all ME2 squad mates are alive, she would have to take it in all at once, rather than one recruit at a time.

I do wonder how Ashley and Jacob would get along in the armory.i know if they worked together Shepard would have the best weapons in the galaxy every one would be a 1 shot 2 kill kinda weapon.
They'd have at least something in common because of Eden Prime. I'm not sure Ashley would fully understand Jacob's decision to leave the Alliance, though, especially for Cerberus.
I actually think Ashley would eventually learn to work with all the team members very well - just like she learned to work with Liara, Garrus, and Wrex in ME1. I think that some of the ME2 squad might require even more of an adjustment for her than the ME1 squad did, but I do think it's an adjustment she's capable of making.
EDIT: Just an afterthought, but it seems like Ash is someone who has a great deal of respect for ability. I think once she learned what the new squad is capable of, she wouldn't have many problems left as far as working with them is concerned.

So, Ashley has a Russian face model? That would explain a lot.
I myself only go for men, but I will say that the majority of women from Eastern Europe are absolutely gorgeous.
