I was wondering myself how Ash would have reacted to Joker for his part in the Commander getting spaced, initially at least. I suppose that anything she would have done Joker would have done to himself three fold, but with Joker the reason why Shepard went back (and used his last moments to save his friend) and joining Cerberus (probably in Ash's eyes, I think, pretty much spitting on all Shepard stood for, mine at least)... I don't think if the ol' team gets back together in ME3 that they would get on very well at all, despite their history fighting Saren. My view anyways.

I was hoping for the chance to chew Joker out (or break all of his bones, poison his food/ smother him in his sleep) for getting Shepard killed as well.  But ME2 forces you to be nice to him all the time...
Maybe the devs will listen to us and implement some form of party banter like in DAO.

I'm pretty sure Ash would break AT LEAST one of Joker's bones when she found out he was mostly responsible for Shep's death. It would be a pretty amusing conversation, though. :P

She already knows, Shepard said that he/she would hull Joker off the ship. Not to mention I think Joker would have said something about being his fault for getting Shepard killed.

Joker was stupid to stay with the ship, but it was Shepard's fault for not getting out in the first place. As noble as it was to save him, Shepard could've taken a shuttle.

Lawl Shepard in the Mako after the Normandy blew, that would have been funny.

*Com Channel Open*

Ashley: Hey Commander I think your still hasn't improved at all.

Shepard: I'm in space with the Mako how could I not be a better driver.

Ashley: Well Commander, from here it looks like you are doing a barrel roll on all Axis.

Shepard: Well now that you say that I was wondering why I started to feel Gravity in Space.

Shepard: Ashley shotgun seat is open for you.

Ashley: ....

Ash has had two years. I think she would mostly have moved on from any role that Joker had in getting Shepard killed. I do wonder, however, if his reluctance to leave the ship - and the resulting death of the first human Specter - may have factored into the decision of the Alliance to ground him. That CAN'T look good on your yearly evaluation.

I agree that, at this point, Ash would likely be more upset with Joker (and Chakwas) for joining Cerberus. How she'll respond when seeing them again... I don't know. Even though they're with Cerberus, they're now also working with Shepard. And judging by the trailer for ME3 that was released, Ash (and everyone else) may have bigger things to worry about by the time she joins up with Shepard again.

Revisited ME1 again. I was going for the Hardcore and Insanity Achievements, so I decided to make it a speed run. I have to say, even when speeding through the game Ashley is still one of my favorite parts of the game. For the sake of trying something new I left her Virmire. I just have a feeling though there's something about Ashley that there's more character development for her compared to Kaidan. This is in no way a slight against Kaidan, but it just felt like with my talks with him, he's already come into his own and made piece with his past.

I still like the fact that with Ash you learn a lot about her interests, family, religious beliefs, her views on Government. That sort of depth was sorely lacking in the ME2 romances.

I like the comments that Ash makes during missions and on the Citadel. I think she has some of the best observations in the entire game.

One of my favorites has to be when we walk into Chora's Den: "A million light years from where humanity began and we walk into a bar filled with men drooling over half-naked women shaking their asses on a stage. I can't decide if that's funny or sad."

Me three. To finish that up-
Kaidan: What? You didn't think they came here for the food?

Not to also mention-
Kaidan: I can see why this place is so popular. It's got quite the, uh, view.
Ashley: Hey, Lieutenant. Put your tongue back in your mouth before you trip over it.

Gotta love Ash for that. Posted Image

My opinion of Ashley with one word is "crazy" she believe in god yet in mass effect 2 she call shepard a god, (what the hell) plus she just a damn alliance fanatic, miranda at least in the end refuse to follow the illusive man order, even if she isnt loyal to shepard. with that said ashley at least have a nice ass like miranda lol ;p just put a bag on her face XD maybe with a hole lmao!

Well, I respect your opinion, but I do suggest you take a second Look at Ashley. God's are known to be able to cheat Death (christianity beleives Jesus stayed dead for 3 days an was then resurrected) Shepard was dead for 2 years and was ressurected. She believe in the Allaince because of how she was raised:in a blacklisted family who has to work hard to prove themselves to the Allaince and the Allaince runs in her family. It's just an exaggerated title, like how people call Bioware Gods, they don't mean it literally.

plus she just a damn alliance fanatic, miranda at least in the end refuse to follow the illusive man order, even if she isnt loyal to shepard.

considering Cerberes's past can you blame her.

I'm sorry, normally I don't feed the trolls, but seriously, how much effort does it take to be respectful of female characters?  This is one instance where I cannot but whip out the feminist credentials; what you've written is a load of offensive, sexist tripe.

Yes, Miranda and Ashley are women.  Yes, they're attractive.  No, that is not what defines them.  Moreover, that is not what determines a woman's worth.  Nothing infuriates me as much as the objectification of a character.  From what you've written, I doubt that you took any time in game to get to know either character (as much as one can claim to 'get to know' a fictional character).  Had you done so, you would realize that there's a lot more to each of them then their ability to titillate or perform fellatio.  Not only is each a complex character with her own interests, priorities and prejudices, but neither one of them views a relationship with Shepard as the be-all, end-all of her existence.  Ash even says it right to Shepard:  "I don't need money, a knight in shining armor, or a man to make me happy.  This is who I am...I like her."

Everyone who posts on this thread likes Ashley as well.  Even if they don't, they're mature enough to respect her as a human being.  Please go away, and take your inability to view women as more than sex toys with you.

Edit: Grammar fixed.

A man to make me Happy...I think by Horizon on ME2 she kinda of needed a man to make her happy in some form. How does everyone else feel about that Quote from Ashley after ME2?

No she doesn't, she needed her boyfriend/friend to not act nonchalant about being MIA for the past 2 years.

Considering Ashley's interest in poetry, I'm pretty sure she was saying it in a "romantic" sense, not literally believing Shepard to be a god.

The only nice thing about trolls is that they actually make our lives easier by keeping our favorite threads up in the top pages where they are always easy to find... :D

And with the Tali thread showing more discipline, trolls are more likely to wander into other, less crowded threads... *Ashley throws the troll another scap of meat* ...and they make cute pets!
