Ash aint a kiss ass, some fans may like characters kissing Shepards ass, but I dont it's unrealistic, so i'm pretty glad she dosen't always agree with Shepard.

I think that's the root of people's problems with Aria as well. :P

badpie, your source of always trying to spice (keep it sexy) it up, never ceases to amaze me...keep it up.

Look, I can't help it she's so sexy.  I can't be blamed for reacting to it as a straight female the way a straight male would.  I mean...It's Ash.

Well depending on how good your computer's Anti-Aliasing was, blocky rear ends put a slight dent in that statement. Course', "smooth" AA validates that sentence  :D

Ash is just sexy in general, and she manages to be sexy without seeming like a "fan service" type character.

I think she's perfect for my canon Shepard. They do have quite a few things in common.  At the same time, I see them as balancing each other out in some ways.

Started playing Noveria on my latest ME1 run today.

I always take Liara along for the extra dialogue that deals with Benezia. However, I am also taking Ash along because I think she has some excellent comments/observations on the Noveria mission.

Since I play a soldier, this means that I'm not going to be capable of hacking computers on this mission. But I don't care, because Ash is worth it.

Soooo I just saw Ashley running through a burning Normandy SR1 in the PS3 trailer. Does this mean the comic's been put forward to before the prologue and one of her all-too-few appearances is thus back in? Or is it a case of false advertising?

I'd like to think it means that Ash will be back.

I suspect it's just false advertising, though.  The Virmire Survivors haven't exactly been getting much love from Bioware.

My guess ,  False advertising. But getting a Dev to comment on the ps3 version is hard enough. Now try getting one to comment on how the comic will work for the PC or the 360 . We won't know till it comes out and get reports from people that play it. If they remove anything of what little Ash and Kaidan have in me2 , well I will rage.

It was, is, and shall be Ashley.

I've already added the comic to the list of DLC that I have no interest in.

I already own a copy of ME1.  If I want to start a new game of ME2 with ME1 decisions made, then I'll just import a character.

Or I'll just start a new character in ME1 and play all the way through.  At least that way I get to see Ash.

I know - I just replayed LotSB and much as I enjoyed it I felt so sad at how little game-time Ashley and Kaidan have gotten by comparison to Liara. :-(

I tend to think they didn't change this at the last minute (assuming we understood correctly how things stood re. the start of the game anyway). But if it's actually impossible to get this scene in the PS3 version then that means they didn't use PS3 footage in the trailer, doesn't it? And it seems like they'd kind of be shooting themselves in the foot to take this approach. So why show something we'd all know couldn't be PS3 if it, um, couldn't be PS3?

Sorry - I'm probably waaaay over-analysing this. Sadly, Ashley and Kaidan fans have gotten so starved in terms of attention given to their favourite characters that over-analysis has kind of become a way of life. :-/

Well I think the info that we were getting is from the Demo. So it could be different in the demo verses the actually game. I still doubt a dev will comment . So we will have to wait and see. If they remove any of Ash and Kaidans screen time from me2 I will be pissed and no I don't care what the reason would be.

Hopefully, then, the demo is different from the game in this respect.

I mean, it doesn't matter to me in the sense that I'll always play Mass Effect on PC. But PS3 players shouldn't miss out on Ashley and Kaidan awesomeness!

I'd argue they already will, since they can't play ME1.

What little Ash and Kaidan there is in ME2 really can't be considered "awesome," especially since most of it is on Horizon.

I play on PC also and have no plans on getting the comic when it comes out for the PC.
While it wont effect my game cause I wont get the comic and don't play me2 anymore. Taking any of what little Ash and Kaidan got in me2 on any platform is unacceptable for any reason. They got screwed in me2 and we as fans have been ignored since long before the release of me2.

I agree that it sucks how much time Liara gets in me2 compared to ashley and Kaidan, it's just making the human LI's look terrible in comparison to the "intresting" alien romances. so much for the VS being the "canon" default romance for Shepard.
