Do y'all think this new project or whatever by Jesse be about a VS DLC?

That's what I'm (foolishly) hoping for!

Not to burst any bubbles (as I myself am practically chomping at the bit for Ash DLC) but I thought Jesse's project was concerning the PS3 version of the game and the fact that on launch day it will be available to download via the PSN?

I'm trying to think of good ways that would reunite Ash and Shepard, but I can't think of too many things that would work out as well as LoTSB worked out. Based on her emotions, Shep and Ash need private time to talk first before anything. Jumping into a mission otherwise would probably be awkward for the both of them.

Ash is a professional, highly trained soldier. If she needs to work with Shepard as part of whatever mission she's working on, I have no doubt that she'd be able to put aside her feelings and do so.

I just hope that by the end of ME3, my Shep and Ash have had a stunning story arc come to a close.

I think we can all agree on that...

From what I can gather from his twitter account, yes.

At least that appears to be his project announcement, anyway.

I don't expect to see any ME2 DLC announcements until after the release of the ps3 version of ME2 and the hype for that has died down.

Can someone help me with the Ashley romance? This is my first time playing ManShep and on my last conversation with her(the one where she is concerned about the aliens) I made sure to pick all the Paragon responses and at the end I picked the left choice to show her that I wanted to kiss her(I didn't pick the "You're out of line" choice). And I heard that she ends her conversation with "Skipper" if you're still in the romance but she didn't say that when the conversation ended. So does she not say it until later or am I locked out of the romance?

Unless your game is bugged you should be fine. You got Shep's "Would you kiss anyone I order you to?" line, right?

I assume this is what you meant, and if I can recall right she has the conversation right after you complete a few space/side missions. (I has new video but not uploaded to xfire I fixed my audio Sync issue) By that point I am sure that Ashely does not yet say Skipper at then end of that conversation. I think she start's to call Shepard "Skipper" after the third conversation about her family (been a while since I have played.)

Ok why does she call Shep skipper anyway? She even calls my Femshep that

I do find it a highly enduring nickname though :)

a marine thing? Or an Ash thing?

I can't help but swoon when she says that

I think Ashely calls Shepard "Skipper" as she see's your Shepard as a friend rather than a Commanding Officer.

Ah, ok. I should be fine then. Thanks everyone :).

I'll also say that I think she is a wonderful character and I'm hoping that we will get a VS DLC.

Skipper is a nickname for a Captain of a Ship so in saying skipper she doesn't just see them as her captain. Or just an informal way to still be formal.

This.  Skipper is an informal title given to Captains.  It's like a "term of endearment", or as close as you can get in a military setting.  Males can call Captains skipper as well, so it's platonic in nature.

Since no one has posted in a few hours, I have an Ash question.

I know it's possible to "paragon" Ash in ME1, so that she's not quite so mistrusting of aliens and the council. My question is: How many of you paragon her, and how many of you don't?

In all honesty, I've never paragoned her, despite the fact that when I do a "canon" run through my character is a paragon. To me, it doesn't feel right to be able to change Ash's opinions so easily. It feels like that should be something that happens gradually, over the course of the entire series.

I think on my "canon" run I paragon'd her. Not out of spite or anything, I just was pursuing the dialogue choices I felt I would be saying and it sorta happened. To her credit, she doesn't simply fold. She's just clear that you've offered a viewpoint she hadn't considered, and that she'll consider it in the future. You know, like a believable character. At least, that's how I remember it. Been a bit since I rolled through the first game.

Interesting.

I'm doing a ME1 run now, and I'm considering whether or not I should try paragoning Ash.

I understand she argues in favor of saving the council if she's been paragoned, and to be honest, that's one of the reasons I've avoided it. I always do save the council, but it seems more in character to have her arguing against it.
