ok, so here's the first 2 chapters of my Shep/Ash fanfic.  I just got done editing the second chapter and it may take a while for the changes to take effect, but I don't think you'll have too hard a time with it as is.  I hope you guys like it!  www.fanfiction.net/u/2717218/

I know everyone has different opinions and are more than welcome to them, but I just don't get how so many people dislike Ashley. I think she's a great character, the conversation on Horizon wasn't really the most romantic reunion ever, a little bit of tweaking would've done it good, but you gotta love the amazing voice acting they put into this. You can certainly feel the emotion and the bgm adds that sweet memory ambiance.

I hope in ME3 ash gets a bigger role and the relationship is more present. It just sorta lacked for me in ME2.

Yeah i feel the same way. But Horizon was just all round bad, except for the hug at first, shepard was just "How you been" and ashley says she loved him and he just goes oh yeah, sry bout that been dead a while.. you know. And who knows why people dislike her but i think all the recent hate there has been is because of all of us Ashley fans have been really "vocal" about her in the forums lately. 

But im really sure that the next DLC is gonna have her in it and in a big way too. Also in ME3 as well. It would make perfect sense IMO.

On the other hand, Miranda and Jacob - two characters that work for a terrorist organization dedicated to human superiority - are "just awesome."

Yeah, Jacob gets far from praise from the fanbase, and this is coming from someone who likes Jacob.

Thats what iv'e always wondered. Ashley gets all this hate do to her distrust of aliens when Miranda and Jacob both work for a pro human terrorist organization. Jacob not so much but Miranda? She was really close to TIM and says herself she strongly believes in them and what they stand for. Yet she is one of the favorites in the series. Makes no sense to me at all. Ashley is by far the most developed character and has some the deepest most meaningful conversations with you in the game. IMO.

Also Horizon isn't that bad if you pick the smart dialogue, if you choose the "I wasn't even conscious" you tell Ash flat out what happened and why you've been gone 2 years and how you've come back and why you're on Horizon. After that you an pick whatever dialouge you want but the neutral response puts all of Sheps cards on the table. My last Horizon shep didn't mince her words and she got right to the point and tried her best to convice ash she wasn't a traitor, especially after Ash said I loved you.

it's actually not. if you choose the paragon or renegade Ashley says there are reports thatyou're working with Cerberus and someone in your squad confirms it. and then nothing really gets said jsut back and forth. If you go neutral sometimes Shepard ends up stating all the facts and Ash just sounds sorta bitter.

yeah your right, i just did the horizon scene and changed it up and it seemed more realistic, didn't make the end result any better tho...
