Okay, for the sake of sharing some strange fanart, here is the version of Ashley Williams that I made in Halo: Reach.

So yeah here is, to the best of my ability, Ashley Williams in Phoenix armor 'Halo-ized'. I know it's not perfect but go easy on me.

EDIT: Also this is a direct update from Bungie.net and I've since changed my character so this may not be a permenant thing. So enjoy it while it lasts before it gets updated again.

I don't think there's a piece of clothing or armor Ash would look horrible in.Hell she would even make wearing a burlap sack seem hot. :DDat Ash.

Is it wrong for me to like some part of Ashley's version of the Horizon cameo based soley on the fact she's the only one in ME2 who bothers raising any question regarding the whole fact about Shepard being brought back from the dead? Namely the "What did they do to you?" line.

I have no issue with anything she did, it would have been nice had she been more Sheps reasoning, but it was Shep who acted like nothing had happened.

If i had to blame someone it would be Shepard but i think it was more the situation.

Truth be told, that was one moment that actually made me pause and wonder if TIM lied about the control chip.  I mean, it would have explained so much.

I would have preferred a control chip, personally. It would have been a more satisfying explanation as to why my paragon Shepard decided to work for a group that he despises.

I really think that they intended Horizon to drive you away from Ash/Kaidan if you romanced them in ME1. However, that didn't work with me. If anything, I have more respect for Ash for the way she deals with Shepard in ME2, and less respect for Garrus and Tali. It seems like Ash is the only one willing to stand up to Shepard's stupidity.

Bioware's purpose of Horizon and the Illium cameo.

Make the player hate the ME1 LI's, in whatever way they can, no matter how cheap! 


But seriously. I like the fact that the ME1 LI's get a "rocky second chapter", because it makes them even more meaningfull and deep (even if the cameos where executed horribly). Granted the VS fans still lacks the DLC.

If Horizon had been executed better I would be a big fan of it.

I like the idea of the "rocky second chapter" as well. Makes something worth fighting for I think. And it also shows me that they're adults and pragmatists who don't let their feelings for each other consume who they are and what their responsibilities are. Like real adults things have to be put by the side to deal with real life. And no "couple" is without conflict.

That being said I still stand by my opinion that Horizon was a piece of sh*t writing.  Like all the ingredients were there but no one bothered to bake the cake.
