Say on that YouTube video tribute to Ash with that song "Never too late", at 35 seconds in there is a scene from a cutscene with Shepard crouching behind a crate. Anyone know where that came from? Neat how his shield flashes.
Also about a minute in there's a scene with what looks like Thane shooting a guided projectile that takes out a lookout tower or something, the bullet makes a right hand turn. Anyone know where that's from?
That is from the Mass Effect 2 Cinematic trailer. . It's sadly lacking in Ash content.
Thanks Zeuss. I had never seen that before. I'm amazed at the quality of the trailers they release compared to the game. The cinematics in the game were good, but nothing like that.
I thought it hilarious in that battle scene with Grunt just going out in the middle of the fray and casually blasting stuff with his shotgun. I laughed pretty hard at that pull field, how Grunt just took his time picking those guys off. Having completed the game before seeing that trailer made it probably more entertaining (funnily) than those who created it planned.
Funny at the end too how Shepard reaches for his assault rifle when the collector ship shows up, like that assault rifle is an adequate response for dealing with that ship. I know there's more to it than that but LOL.
I also saw a short trailer for the original ME, the one where the planet is issuing a distress call and Shepard decides to ignore it. Ashley in that one looks much better than anywhere else I've seen her.

Actually, hardcore romance fans aren't that common, and hardcore Ashley romance fans even less so; those with a casual attitude towards the story are likely to have flitted onward to a new LI (Miranda being the most popular). The financial hit would be minor, to say the least.
I hate it when someone is probably more right than I am. If there were more loyal Ash fans we'd have some bargaining power. We all have an obligation to introduce our friends to Ash-omness.

Hmm, this is interesting. According to this title, that "Arrival" DLC is going to be the last DLC prior to ME3. Not sure if that claim will turn out to be accurate but doesn't look good for a VS-focused DLC. In a way that's good because hopefully they're saving all our reunion happiness to make ME3 as awesome as possible.

I'm not holding my breath that this dlc will have anything to do with Ash, but i do still think we'll get our VS closure at some point. Possibly ME3 but... maybe not. Like Raanz wrote. you never can tell.
I agree with the first part. The second? I just don't see it at this point.

As Ash (and you Kaidan) fans, you have to have a little faith. This Arrival content that was leaked doesn't faze my opinion a bit about Ash and Kaidan getting their "due" before ME3.
We have already been told that there will be two more major DLC packs before ME3 to "bridge" the gap between ME2 and ME3. Yes, Arrival could be one of those and in all honesty, could include heavy Alliance involvment which might include the survivor. Or...maybe it doesn't. That still leaves one more DLC.
The way I see it, Ash, Kaidan and Liara are major role NPC for the ME trilogy. Hudson has already said they haven't forgotten about the survivor and I believe it. I realize that some of Shepard's (our) choices in the game haven't mattered too much, but the Virmire choice will play out, I'm convinced they have had this planned all along, right along side LotSB.
Remember, DLC doesn't have to "feature" the survivor in order to INCLUDE the survivor.

We know, but it would make our sheets moist if that's the case...
BTW, I thought that there was only one more DLC left; that being the recently discovered "Arrival" DLC.

Ah, you are correct. I read the Cerberus News wrong. Ok, so "Arrival" seems to be the last of the DLC until ME3.
Then I am convinced it will have some sort of resolution with the survivor and Shepard. How much and if it will be any good I can't say...only time will tell.
Thanks for clearing that up for me amigo.

Well, your words give at least me some good hope. I thought about the VS just playing a minor role as well but am trying to manage my own expectations downward with the hope of being surprised. COME ON! We're not asking for a lot! Just give us more "air time" than those 3 minutes or whatever in ME2, and let's at least have a kiss! We're not asking for a lot here Bioware to tie us over!
I saw the ending of LotSB on Youtube, watched it to see how the romance was continued with Liara. Remember that in ME2 Liara didn't say nasty things to Shep and basically have a fight where she blasted him and said she doesn't trust him - where I'm going is it was a LOT less work from a plot standpoint to pick up and continue the Liara relationship than it will be to mend the VS relationship. Because first you have to work through the pain caused by Ashley's (VS's) behavior. I guess I'm just dragging out saying it will be more effort (and cost more voice acting fees) to repair (and then further) the VS relationship than the relationship with Liara, which is a headwind us Ash fans are exposed to that the Liara fans weren't.
Overall, Raanz excellent analysis.

Mm, sure that I react very badly if it was really the case. Probably bitter, I will withdraw mass effect forum and I'll stop playing and talking about M2 until the arrival of M3 in December. I move on to something else.If the latest DLC does not contain Ashley/Kaidan, I am not buying it
The DLC will be well, however, only I see no point in me excited for it, talk about it if there was no return of Kaidan / Ashley.
But I remain very optimistic.
