Fred Shep went through the suicide mission in style, rockin' it Ashley-style with white and red armor.

Tomorrow would be better. :P  Good stuff Milla.

So inspired by Badpie's "Surprise", I got a little motivated and did something for the story.  If I get banned for this pic, I swear it doesn't look NSFW for me...but who knows who's sensibilities I will upset.

Ash in a bathing suit, based on Badpie's story:

Here is my favorite render from tonight's round:

BTW: if a mod wants me to I can remove the picture, and just post a link....

thanks Raanz, and once again, wow! ..

I can't imagine you'd get banned for this, it's essentially, just Ash in a bathing suit, and i'm sure everyone here agrees that we want to keep seeing your renders.

LOL Maternity thong!

That's about the size her belly would be in the story. I can't help thinking she'd be uncomfortable in that getup though. ;)

@Badpie, hey I'm a guy, I have no idea what would be comfortable. :) That was for her run on the beach. I'll see what I can do to fix it.

@AD I could try.....what were you thinking?

I'm going to attempt a Shep/Ash pic with guns and sheet, we'll see how that goes.

Has anyone thought about creating an Ash only website?

Loving the render Raanz, love the look of 'Maternity Ash'. And anyway don't worry, I've seen far more... provocative stuff get posted without consequence and these renders are fantastic.

@Kemet: The thought had crossed my mind but to be honest I don't things are that problematic yet that we need to think about leaving, there are enough people on these forums who like Ash. It's not like say... youtube where everyone just yells 'racist' and then moves on.

As it stands, while it would make it easier to converse with only other Ash fans on a site dedicated to her (or maybe a VS site for both characters) it would mean that we've isolated ourselves from the rest of the community.
Frankly I think things here aren't so bad, sure there are quite a few haters but there is also a healthy percentage of fans as well.

But that's just my opinion.

*fondly remembers his wife looking like that 5 years ago*

...well, that's definitely something Shepley can look forward to post-Reapers! :)

EDIT

On the topic of maternity workout wear: If Ash wanted to exercise with a baby bump, she'd likely use a variant of her workout wear (like that great picture a few pages back). The only difference would be that for pants and togs, the waist band has to be higher up (~4 inches above the belly button) so that the baby bump is comfortably covered. It's not for modesty, just practical reason: the elastic waistband gets really uncomfortable if it's any lower.

These renders are awesome, it's so nice to see Ash again! *sigh*

Seems appropriate to repost something I wrote a loooooong time ago ....

We all know the mission, and what is at stake.
We have come to trust that Ash will be in ME3 - but I have also heard murmurs of discontent regarding where things might be going. I share your concerns.
We are trained to always be on-topic; we would be more vocal, but the old thread got locked.
Spam posting is not our way.
Think of our hero: the Gunnery Chief, who was the sole survivor of her unit on Eden Prime. Or the Operations Chief, who kept armies of angry fans at bay with a single emailed note.
These appearances do not seem to give us solace here, but they are not all that we hope for.
Before ME2, there were the old forums. We are not just an Ash support group, we are soldiers!
Our influence did nothing to help prevent her cameo, but before that we held the line!
Our influence has attracted trolls and new posters, but before that we held the line!
Our influence will (hopefully, fingers-crossed and all that) bring Ash back to ME3; in the battle today, and always WE WILL HOLD THE LINE!

Well said, Silver. The Chief would be proud.;)

Topic from the Official List of Topics: There are two type of oldest siblings. There are the ones who are mature, responsible sorts because they had to play a secondary parenting role to all the younger siblings. And then there are ones that had the rebellious streak, fighting against all their parents' expectations on their first child. I'm talking before they reach adulthood really, so what sort was Ashley? Causing some grey hairs for her poor mother or setting the example to her sisters? However she was as a teenager, she certainly took the military life seriously once she joined.

Hey all I have an update for everyone. I am sad to say this comes with both good and bad news (yes bad news....sorry.) Good news first, I have updated the OP and have two new Ashley Video's added to the post. Also I'd like to point out that our one little Batty (Batlass8) now has a link to her Fanfic on the OP as well. Grats Bat, keep up the good work and hope alive.

And now the bad news (you were warned...twice)

With the update to the OP it seems somewhere along the line that the embedding of the Talking Ashley image and the ME2 Horizon Video(auto load/play) are not working at the current time. I am currently unsure why I cannot embed the needed files, but I can say I have used the same process of embedding from the beginning.

Anyway keep up the good work all, Ashley is worth it.

I've always liked this question - iirc, it was a gift from our mighty moderator Pacifien.

I don't see Ashley as the type to raise hell, but I can definitely see her sowing her wild oats as a young woman.  Her family's important to her, as we all know, and we also know that she took the role of dutiful older sister seriously when Sarah needed her.  I think she acted as a stand-in parent for her sisters in a lot of ways, but I also think that didn't preclude her from giving her mother some gray hairs.  I don't get a rebellious vibe from her, but I think she's playful and a little wicked enough to cause some trouble.

I think she had a rebellious streak that was mostly directed against her mom. Not resentment, just annoyance at what her mother's expectations may have been. Ash obviously adored her father, and choosing to follow in his footsteps into a dead-end military career may not have been winning her points with her mom...

The loss of her father probably changed everything, with the family rallying around in such situations.
