      we need to take ASh and Jacob's skills while not under Shepard's belt..SHep can make anyone shine...look at Conrad(or whatever his name is)

ok,if were going too take other ppls help out of the mix than take out jacob saveing the citadel beacuz he had alot of help from miranda and did not do it on his own.you take that away from him all you have left is him in the corsairs and we dont even kno if he saw action there he never says he did.

well..it is Shepard who makes everyone shine..but i see your point...still as much as i like Ashley i still belive Jacob is better...as i said..i would love a team..Shepard,Jacob,Ashley...

and i still think ashley is better than jacob.agree to disagree i supose.

NOW GAMEPLAY wise ash woul crush jacob like a bug jacob gose down waaay too much on insanity and can only use a shotgun and a pistol and use his biotics.ash on the other hand is versitile in ever weapon has immunity and can wear heavy armor.

Well, in case anyone cares about what my theories about Ash's interim work / mental situation are, and considering I haven't been flamed yet ... I might as well share with you guys that I wrote me up some Ash fic. 3 chapters so far, Ash POV - working through the minefield that is Horizon now (ugh).

hmmm, I will accept that answer Liam, the answer is during the assault on Saren's base but Ash has to be in you're squad and not with the Salarian team.

I dont know about Jacob, he fight's in close quaters, he has no long range weapons. Ash can fight close, middle, and long range. I think Ash is on a par with Garrus.

so..u are trying to ignore Jacob's achievments becuase in ME2 he only has a gun...play galaxy..he has an assault rifle....Jacob has a lot more experience then her...but Ashely is getting there..fast

No i havent played galaxy, i know what he did and he is a good soldier, but from ME2 i had him pegged as a close quaters fighter, that aint a bad thing counter terrorism squads specialise in close quaters.

well Ashley has the skills it's the experience she lacks...plus i really don't see Ashley as a leader..(i hope she wasn't the one leading the squad on Eden Prime,can't remember)...while Jacob is a leader...and a dam good one...would love Ashley and Jacob mission pairing

ashley has had numerous reacomendations from her superiors stateing she is indeed worthy of command.yes she was in command of her unit on Eden prime but them getting killed was not her fault they were outnumbered,outgunned,and surrounded just like her grandfather...its more like bad luck then ineptness.

Yeah lol, she was in you're squad so i accepted your answer. I dont always bring Ash with me on Virmire and get that quote for a sad reason....Saren holding Shepard over the edge of the cliff lol.

wel lliam i always had Ash in my party too...only problems i had with her was her loyalty to the Alliance...i play my Shepard as a make my own decisions whenever i can...that is why i hope Sheo has the option to hold no alegiance in ME3...i tried to see if i can change Ash views on the situation..no option for that...but i love her the way she is...

Can't quote, but your Shep sound similar to mine.  Paragon all the way ... and the borderline alcoholic.  He spends lots of time at Kasumi's bar and in Citadel bathrooms, and he still can't move the message from Ash into the archived messages folder.  Those two wine glasses in his quarters?  Both for him - one for red, one for white.  Poor alcoholic Shep.

i play paragon shep always,i love the alliance an council i love paragoning ash so shes not so rogue.i hated be apart of cerberus in ME2 i wanna fly allaince/council again ME3 most likely way too see ash again unless she pulls a jacob and resgins too go solo (most likely wont happen though remeber shes an alliance marine its in her BLOOD)

@liam or better yet she could use her shore leave it could be like a healing the rift get away.nothing heals wounds of your lover dieng for two years then returning and joineing an extremist organzation thats your enemy,than a few months of blowing **** up and saveing the galaxy on board the normandy.

For Ash to leave the alliance they would have to do something incredibly bad. I mean real bad. Ash wouldn't just leave. Not her way.

If u ask me..Ash should have left the alliance after meeting Shep on Horizon...the Alliance are idiots...as the COuncil...no matter how much Ash is working she will never go past a level..unless something changes in ME3....she would do much better flying solo with my SHep where her skills are indeed rewarded

@liam,lol like the reapers are invading, and tearing the galaxy too shreds killing billions and the turian counslor is still "dismissing claims".i think then she would leave.
