I read it a couple of days ago and it beat the crap out of my fanfic. You do a really good job of showing what she had to go through after Shepard's death, Without compromising her strong attitude.

I could see her and my Shepard running a small colony out in the middle of nowhere 10-20 years from the end of ME3. Allows them to break out the guns every once in a while to fend of pirates and slavers whle still "settling" down.

10 years out - Still kicking ass and taking names
20 years out - Living happily on Amaterasu with the rest of the Williams family and the other men that those harpies have kidnapped and dragged out there.  Block parties, BBQs, a special place in the backyard reserved for target practice, little ASheps running around, and frequent visits and piggyback rides from Uncle Garrus and Uncle Wrex.  Joker can come too.

i imagin ash would become an admiral and run basic fleet patrols and operations (no combat though as i want the epic battle with the reapers to unify the galaxy and thus be no more organic wars)and this is the cool part shep could become a tranier/teach in the N7 traning center theyd both be stationed at arcturis .when there not working/on duty they could have a house on elysium where my shep is a war hero and has a statue of himself,they could take there two kids too go see it.the williams sisters will ocasinaly stop by and spend time with there neice and nephew.once every year they will have a "Normandy reuion"were all the surving sqaudmates will get togther talk,laugh, share old war stories, and remeber their fallen friends.all in all i see them haveing a good life.

Actually, that would be a really smart for colonies to do.  Leak rumors that Shepard lives there. They'd never have to worry about defense.

Not really, it would attract tons out to prove their mettle by taking down the hero who saved the galaxy. Thugs aren't known for their intelligence after all.

I still don't understand Kuril's reasoning there.

That's why I see them just kind of fading into the background, the Alliance/Council who really need Shepard (and by extension, his/her LI) would know where Shepard is but few others would have a clue.
