I had that exact argument with someone on this site a while back... and I kept trying to explain that people do not choose to be something like racist... but they can choose to try to change or better themselves. I agree completely. I played as a paragon and I convinced Ash to be more trustful of aliens - she even recommend to save the council...

Even Pressley comes to trust them as seen in his diary found at the normandy crash and he was even more outspoken than she was. There is of course good reason, if in real life the turians came down how likely is it really that eveyone is going to welcome them with open arms? It would be interesting to see how these people who are so hard on Ash would act like if they found themselves in that situation.

You know what? I'm glad that Ash has also some haters. It probably sounds silly, but I think that the worst is indifference. You can love her or hate her, but she has strong personality and that's great.

This is a good observation. Indifference to a character means that there's nothing there, nothing worth loving or even hating.

Seriously, saying that Ashley is a racist hipocrite is like saying that Denzel Wahington in The Book of Eli isn't a Christian.  You just can't do it.

Grifter you may also like "Dinner on the Citadel" on the fanfic website, a great Ash/Shep story like one of Badpie's or Milla's but all about Ash and Shep meeting up post-Horizon.

Thank you for the story. Once I start reading one I cant stop haha.

I've noticed a trend now with a few authors with Shep/Ash.

I've seen alot of people make her a coffee drinker as well as kind of a floozy, I find it rather strange that those two quirks have popped up in numerous stories between the two.

I liked the story but the author made Shep a little softer then Millas Sheppard. Millas Shep seems to have more authority and more of a backbone when it comes to ash, while this one seems a little lost and shy although the ending of the story was really well done.

Even Millas Shep is a too senstive for me, Ash as well, thats the problem with writing about exsisting characters, people already have views on what they are like.

I always thought Garrus was about to say something to Shepard and that's why Ash stopped him.  Kind of a "Don't.  He's made his decision."  But then Ash always has understood Shepard in a way no one else can I think.   Sigh.  Any word on whether or not she'll be appearing in Arrival?

Mac Walters is doing a Q&A today at 3 about Arrival.  Not that I think he'd reveal much, but hey, if someone asks about Ash and Kaidan and he accidently reveals something I won't complain.

IF you watch the trailer he specifically looks at ashley. I guess to send his condolences due to the guy on the speaker asking for assistance beign human.

A: Unfortunately, no. I'm sad about this, but I hope it means that Kaidan/Ashley's role in Mass Effect 3 is super awesome.
