On the wikipediapage of Kimberly Brooks, you can read that she will voice Ash again in ME3. So I haven't given up hope 

I also checked IMBd but no news concerning ME3. Only that she will voice Oracle in Arkham City.

Aww yeah!  The reapers had better prepare for Ash in ME3

Seriously. I outright disliked the Tali romance in ME2, because it came off as appeasing to Talimancers. I've said it in the past, that it's good for them, but I literally rolled my eyes at how much of "Shepard Fangirl" Tali became, "I loved you forever, now let's have sex even though it may put my life in jeapordy." 

And seriously, internet reaction is a good way to go by for gameplay improvements, but not story-wise, as internet fans are simply the vocal-minority.

Anyway I can't imagine that BioWare could erase VS just like that. It would hurt not only us, fans, but it would also be stupid and they would compromise themselves as a story creators. If VS wouldn't appear in ME3, it would be just monumental plothole. Picture staring cutscene would have no sense. So...

I hope this means Ashley and Kaidan will be full squadmates in ME3 and Shepard will start the game with them (just like in ME1) and hopefully Arrival will point to this possibility.

The others may be temporary or you don't recruit them until later.

Reading Roses stories.....begin reading her mosiac which is actually very interesting. Thoroughly enjoying the stories in order it seems.

My face when you make me realize how selfish it was to pick ash even though it was the right thing to do.

I never cared for Kaiden and after like 5-6 playthroughs never gave a second thought to making him stay but jeez all these fanfics are making me feel bad.

I'm not happy about Ash not being in arrival, and I don't accept the "better off waiting for ME3" argument.

They could have easily written a good story that involved working with Ash - especially since Arrival seems to deal with the Alliance. Instead, they opted not to - meaning that players who romanced Liara get a chance to develop the romance with her further in ME2, while players who romanced Ash do not. This more or less kills the argument that "all LIs are equal," and makes me very pessimistic about our chances in ME3.

I really don't think Bioware cares about the VS characters. It doesn't seem like they want to be bothered with them. Frankly, it's starting to dampen my enthusiasm for Mass Effect a bit. There are other aspects to the franchise, yes, and there are other LIs... But the thing is, I don't like the other LIs as much, and Ash was important to my main Shepard's story.

Poor Kaidan, shouldn't feel too bad, he's the one who armed the bomb early, so really, he killed hiomself. If he had't shep could have gone back, secured the bomb and the saved ashley.

It depends how she is written into ME3, until we know that we can't assume she could have easily been written in and we won't know if they care about them. I reserve my judgement until then.

If they were planning to do a Liara DLC, they should have planned to do a VS DLC, as well.  It should have been anticipated in story planning.

Lee...I agree with you about Kaiden and stand by my 6th times of killing him.

DWH...I agree as well that the shafting of the VS is getting a little peeved. They can create lots of new characters with different stories yet cant continue the story of the VS?!!

Even IF ME3 sells a billion copies if they ruin Ash I will consider Mass Effect a failure in my opinion and give up on Bio and call them by what they are rightfully called now EA.
