It depends how she is written into ME3, until we know that we can't assume she could have easily been written in and we won't know if they care about them. I reserve my judgement until then.
No.
If they were planning to do a Liara DLC, they should have planned to do a VS DLC, as well. It should have been anticipated in story planning.
Period.
Using the word period doesn't mean the arguement is over just because you think your opinon is best...
You don't know she definately isn't in it yet for a start.
They did a Liara DLC, but she is the Shadowbroker now. There's every chance she won't be a useable squadmate if she's got that to do. Maybe she'll just be in her base and you have to visit her. Maybe they did the DLC because she isn't in ME3.Who knows what happened to Ash after Horizon? There may be something important she is doing and bending the story to fit her into a DLC may well just ruin the stories credability.
If Ashley gets in the game and she doesn't, tables are gonna be reversed. All these insults at the devs etc may well be entirely baseless. Not to mention none of the romanceable ME2 characters got extra DLC. They've all had one game each except Liara, and Tali and Garrus were'nt romancable in the first game. Give Ashley a DLC of her own and someones going to be asking why Miranda was left out for example.
I understand everyones fustration but to be saying the should have done this and that and throwing the accusations around is entirely premature.

But yes I have now read and gotten confirmation that there won't be any kind of Ashley/Kaidan romance resolution in Arrival. And while it does hurt to know that, at least I'm no longer torturing myself with hope. They might still get a mention of some kind though, just hope it's something positive.
In any case, Jesse said that they haven't been forgotten and the guy in the article seemed enthusiastic, so while it seems that a lot of hope for seeing Ash is gone in Mass Effect 2... somewhere within Mass Effect 3, lies hope.

Hope is an important thing.

So you give up? Hope is lost? Not true. Your hope maybe, but not mine. Not ours. VS will be back.DWH1982 wrote...

Wow, this thread moved a lot faster than it does usually. Like five pages in one evening... clearly I missed something fun.

I love that picture! Although watching Earth get ransacked is alittle hard to swallow. I hope Indigo is able to make the picture bigger and higher in resolution so it can be my forever wallpaper.

Beautiful beach + boomstick + armor thongs = best game in existence.

As Im sure you know Ash was scripted as a femshep LI initially so it could have been a possibility that the romance made it into the final game
Vid with unique dialogue
Makes you wonder what could have been. Would you have liked to have seen a femshep romance in the final build? Would your femshep have been a Ash fan too?

Those 4 lines of dialogue were better than the Horizon dialogue in game.

Personally, no. My female Sheps don't need to sleep with her to be friends with her.Captain Crash wrote...

I don't mind FemShep/Ashley ... in fact, I'd prefer her over any other possible FemShep LIs ...except maybe Garrus.ADLegend21 wrote...

I too have edited my save in gibbed and gotten that scene with my femshep.
Still, I think DudeShep/Ashley is slightly better!
Either way, I want Ash! <3

It wouldn't have bothered me if the option was there... I would have romanced Ash with my Femsheps if i'd been given the choice. And I mean... Getting to romance Ash with FemShep means I would get to do a playthrough with a romanced Ash AND the amazing voice acting from Jen Hale. Ooh.... that's...that's... tempting.

Yes but who said they just have to be friends. Theres quite a budding romance there it seems. Well if you wanted it. Im sure alot of people would have welcomed it. [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/happy.png[/smilie]

Yeah the handshake was very awkward. A terrible start to a terrible sequence. At least a hug would have redeemed it a tiny bit!
