Don't count on it. Hate to sound cynical and all, but with their track record with Kai/Ash, plus the fact one of them claimed there would be no VS on Arrival...

It's not all bad: Us and Kaidan fans can look forward to ME3 even more. Kind of like how when you were a kid and you'd look forward to Friday all week long.

Shouldnt Ashley and Kaiden be the same vote? Due to them being lumped into the VS story? Which would mean that the VS is winning by a landslide!

I never understood the whole deal with Tali....then again the only other person I was going to romance was Jack the others just seemed like a waste of time. :innocent:

I feel like I'm one of the only people left in the world with a "average" opinion about Tali. She seems nice enough and I like her just fine. But I don't really feel the great desire to romance her in my games. She'd probably be about 5th on my list to try next, counting the playthroghs where I used female Shepards.

Jedi, I'm with you. I don't love or hate Tali. She's just sort of there. And since I play mostly engineers, she doesn't tag along very often.

Yeah, I don't get the cult following of her either.  I liked her personality in ME2, but she didn't really have enough to make her stand out as much as Ash did.
Same thing with Garrus.  He's pretty cool, but he had like, three memorable lines the whole time, unless you romanced him(and I am a guy and am not into that...)

Yeah like I said, it's because their aliens. Ashley stands out because she has her own views and they can only be altered slightly, while you have a big influence on the other two mentioned. Ashley's still her own person even if she is romantically involved with Shepard. Tis why I lurves her. so much.

Ash in the lead on that poll, Kaidan second. Let's hope that's one of the polls Bioware claims to look at because "fan input is so important". If you think about it Ash and Kaidan when it comes to content are kind of a package deal so really you need to add their votes together. In that case bam! Even farther out ahead.

Chignon good to hear from you. Hey so what will it take to see another amazing little piece of Ash art come from the master? I can rob some of my wife's Farmville dollars or something to send you.

Lastly I will be on travel for most of the week so I won't be able to visit this forum after Monday until I watch someone play Arrival on YouTube. I'm sure it will be fun in it's own right but I dont want to do much more ME gameplay unless it furthers getting back with Ash, and we've heard Arrival doesn't. Takes a lot less time to watch someone play it on YouTube, you get all of the story and a lot of the fun, and free too.

EDIT: Hey Milla, Reed, Badpie, or really anyone - can someone PM me if they buy Arrival and just let me know if it's Ash-worthy or not?  Maybe that guy who said no VS in it was wrong, if that's the case I don't want to watch it on Youtube.

I still look forward to Fridays all week long...

The only person I've read claiming that there is no VS or not is the guy who played the first 22 minutes of it and found no VS.

If she is in ME3, I wonder if it will be easier to change her views.

I'm not sure that would be a good thing.  It's nice to have characters that Shepard has a little more limited influence over.  It also makes me respect Ash a little more.

EDIT: I also voted in the poll, and I'm happy to say that Ash is leading right now!

I'd be happy to oblige dubs, i'm sure anyone here would.. and the guy who said there was no VS only played the first mission.  And he didn't say there was no VS he said there would be no "getting back together" with the VS like what Liara fans got with LotSB.  So, there may be hope yet.  Unless... this is a different guy who played the whole DLC.. In which case.. I dunno.

I forget who makes the 3D Ashley models (Raanz right?) and Iw as wondering if it'd be possible to have my canon femshep mad ein a few poses with Ashley since she's purely ME2 but was gibbed to have Ashley as her ME1 Romance. I'd love to seem them together and not on Horizon.

Hey man, I would... but I'm in pretty much the same boat as you.... *climbs in the boat and sits next to you* lmao! 
I'm pretty much done with ME2 until just before ME3 is released, where I'll do a final "canon" playthrough, just to make sure I have all the choices I want. So, now that I've heard there is no Ash and watched a couple vids.... I don't really care for Arrival. So, yeah... I'd like to know if Ash is, by some miracle, in the DLC as well.

Anyone know the time it's coming out at? Hopefully I'll get it the second it is up for download unless its late in the say, in which case I'm on GMT and I'll be working nights and have to wait for morning. If I get it soon enough I'll let you know!

I'll be doing a final canon playthrough too, I'm getting my characters level up in ME2, but I'll play it all the way through as a reminder! My canon for me is my very first playthrough rather than the one that I think will work out best. So Ashley kills Wrex and I cheat on Ash with Miranda because I thought she had no interest. So I'll do another where I stay faithful to her =P

I cheated as well... but definitely NOT on my first playthrough, which is also my "canon" one...

The only time I ever 'cheated' was on my third playthrough. After two solid playthroughs of staying 100% loyal to Ash (like seriously, I was only content once there was a certainty of NO romance of any kind) of which were both considered far more 'canon'... I finally did one where I romanced Jack because I couldn't resist the call of Jack.
So now I have two faithful and one where I went with Jack. And now that I have romanced Jack every othe playthrough will once again be faithful to Ashley.



Faithful to Ash, always* and forever!

*save for one lone playthrough.
