I hate that scene sooooo much. The ME3 scene where you see her for the first time better have more effort put into it.

I would have liked an email from her even if you were just friends, without all the romanctic fluff, obviously.

@jlb - I'm really surprised they didn't include some sort of 'apology' note from her/Kaidan, even if they weren't your LI. I kind of took it for granted (don't have any playthroughs where she wasn't my LI, so I didn't realize). Not having the email certainly leaves the relationship with a very different color and tone, and I'm curious as to how BW will try to reconcile that in ME3.

I agree with this. She should have sent Shepard a vidmail apologizing to Shepard whether she was romanced or not.

Same goes for Kaidan.

Yeah, I would've liked an email from both Ash and Kaidan even if you didn't romance them. No such luck though.

I'm curious as well.  My Shepard considered Ashley to be her best friend, and they had a bond that was similar to an 'LI' one, just without the 'kissin' and sex'! 

Now, she's mad at me and stormed off withough any further words!  Noooo!!!

TheAsh scene in ME2 is just messy writing, just try to forget the scene and it makes it all better, I know I try to forget that scene.

I would havve liked it if we could have at least tried to comfont Ash expect all we say is "It's good to see you again" <_<

True, at least Ash/Kaidan show some emotion. They really messed up Liara's reunion.

They were both crap, but the Ash crap gave me goosebumps...still does.  Same for Kaidan.

The thing that really bugs me about Horizon - I can kind of see what the writers were thinking. Here's this amazing, silver-tongued hero who can talk down nearly everyone s/he encounters, but ... words don't work in all situations all the time, and Shepard completely crumbled in his/her own way. But the whole thing was just clumsy in a lot of ways. I think the writers were trying to go for haunting, and they got it, but just ... not enough exposition - a few too many fireworks. IMO.

as i have previously stated,i have long accepted Horizon and its flaws,story wise i can see the logic.it adds depth too the relationship and romantic story imo.shep after two years of being dead
finaly reunities with ash only for them too have a heart breaking seperation,now in his lonelyness shep is facedwith a choice too  either move on with some one else,or to hold out hope that they could reconcil and have a future togther Per her letter she sends you.the devs have stated that they sidelined her for a much larger role in ME3 so if they stick too that logic i have faith.either way we will get something in ME3 loyal or unfaithful well just have too wait and pray.

i still hope for all Squadmates to return in ME3...makes sense too..it's the final act of the reaper saga...Ashley should be near Shepard to kick some Reapers away...and so should all the squaddies that Shepard had..plus some more who while not squadmates they will still help

Most primarily, I would like the love interests to return. However, I am very much for the other non-LI love interests returning, they are just not my priority. If you make one love interest return for the finale, you must make all of them return.
