If there wasnt that cerb logo on the door I would have sworn this would be ashley.

I just cant see any other female outside of Samara training.

are you kidding me? Of course Ashley trains, how do you think she got that hot bod? not by sitting on the couch all day.Posted Image

I was referring to the fact that since its a cerb logo its probably Miranda not that Ashley doesnt train moreso I was saying that the pic would indicate that this would have been Ashley for all intents and purposes.

IF we were to get rid of the Cerb logo and just left the masseffect/bio watermarks that most people would say it was Ashley.
Ashley in skin tight spandex.......

Am I the only one who thinks the dudes in the background look like penguins?

That's also not anything like Ashley's body type.  Breasts and hips are way too big.  Then again....penguins.  ^_^

What the hell is that from anyway?  Is that official?

My inner pessimist wants me to think that it's the later, just based on things that have happened...
but we really don't have anything supporting either theory... we just don't know.

To me thats reads as I believe she won't be in ME3, based on the evidence that we don't have.

Lucky for me though, Mass Effect is more than just about Ash... *runs away, occasionally and randomly ducking in case of flying knives*

Alright! So after... how long? a week or so, that I've been avoiding this thread (or any other ME thread) to avoid Arrival spoilers, I've finally had time to complete the DLC (not that I needed a lot of time, as it turned out eventually).

Missed you guys!
Missed Ash also...

So I would like to contribute to this ongoing discussion:
Lee337, I have to say that I agree with you one hundred percent. From reading the replies it seems that you are the only one whe doesn't feel that Bioware are screwing Ashley intentionally, I wanted to say that you are not.
I also tried to say it here before but not as clearly as you did the past few posts.

Personally I liked much more the treatment Ash got in ME2 over Liara. It's not perfect, but at least she stays true to her character from ME1. It would also SUCK to have her around somewhere in the galaxy to jump and say hi and not be able to develop your relationship forward.

After completing Arrival, I'm glad that (as I thought and hoped) Ash wasn't included in it. I don't think I need to pay more money to win her back in a DLC, I want it to be an integral part of the main game. And I really think she will have an important role in ME3 (and even if... god forbid... not, ME still has a lot to offer).

Erm, it's Miranda and as far as I know, it's just an older artwork.

e: Found the original.

Thanks Lee. Trial for what? Are the events of ME2 considered a crime?

Technically Cerberus is considered a terrorist organization and those associated can be tried as such.

IF that was true would Shep not have been arrested right when you land on the Citadel?

Even the batarians arent considered terrorists due to a few bad eggs so the trial might be more then Shep working for Cerb.

I think the trial is more about a massive nuke exploding due to Sheps actions on a planet killing massive amounts of Krogans..clones or not. That could be an act of genocide. Not to mention violating a direct order from superiors when he hijacked a still owned Alliance warship and went to Illos.

More of the beautiful ashleys!

No, it is specifically for the events that happens in arrival, when Shepard is forced to do something. Check out the arrival threads or I'll PM you if you don't plan on playing the arrival DLC, don't want to spoil it for you if you do.

There are more than just two that feel that way.  I think you just read a few posts by some folks who are a bit disgruntled with what they consider a Bioware snub of Ash (or Kaiden).

Yeah, I think I was just the only one who bothered trying to argue their points in here!

I tried some digital art, not good at that!

Yeah Badpie, what's up? Surely you have some interesting pieces cooking.

As far as the feeling slighted issues: not sure why it's an issue...everyone has an opinion, can't we leave it at that?

hey Ash thread. I'd really LOVE if some of youcould give me feedback on how Ash is portrayed in my story Guns and Poems. the the "headcanon" of my canon Femshep who romances Ashley in Mass effect 1 (mods ftw) I'd just like to see if I did Ashley justice by keeping her as the same gunnery Chief we loved in the game, just with a female Shepard. Linky.Posted Image

Right, so I just tried to look up some more Ash pictures on the web to put them on the thread for some nice decoration... didn't realize safe search wasn't turned on, scrolled down far enough and well... I saw... things.
Really, horrible and terrible and sick and perverse things. I promptly poured two gallons of liquid soap into my eyes and scrubbed myself until the flesh peeled off my bones.
The only possible person who could have drawn that stuff and the only target audience for said stuff would have to be serial killers. I am seriously, genuienly disturbed.

Jesus....

Okay but still anyway, having recovered and turned my computer onto the safest safe search settings ever devised by the greatest machines of mankind... I was able to find a couple of nice screenshots to show to the group.
But then they didn't link properly so here is a gif of Shepard and Ash making out:

Posted Image

... It'll do.

Anyway, new topic (once again rehasing an old topic but hey, it's one from a while back)

What kind of clothes do you think Ash would wear outside of a military lifestyle?

I myself, always pictured her as the short to wear long denim jeans and a tanktop with big boots. But that's just me, what say everyone else.

Also as a side note, the penguin people are hilarious.

I think she'd have a favorite pair of worn out jeans that she loves to wear and just a regular ol t-shirt.... I think she'd like black. :)

So, I'll go ahead and ask the question. What will you do if Ash only gets a crappy cameo in ME3? For me, it would be the ultimate slap in the face from bioswear. If this does happen, I may consider not playing anymore bioswear games ever. Thoughts?... Opinions?
