apperntly not just a big part but as a sqaudmate to,but the mass effect wiki hints that it could be tempoary, but what they say isnt fact, but you never know.LessThanKate wrote...
Oh man...been so long...so much Dragon Age...where to begin...
What luck! First time I check back in a while, and there's confirmation that Ashley's coming back. I didn't even play Arrival yet, was sort of...disappointed--but not really surprised--after learning what it was about...but I was fairly confident we'd get payoff in the end. Obviously that much cannot yet be said, but her new look says to me that they do care. That she's back to being an important character, not just...swinging by for a visit.

It would seem that, worst case scenario, she'll be temporary. Or maybe we won't get her back until the end of the game; in which case she'll be really awesome and we'll all be like "Ugh I could've used you during that one boss fight,". But I can accept that. I just hope we at least have the option of keeping her by our side at the end. Probably being too sentimental, but I'm longing for a ride-off-into-the-sunset kind of ending.

and you also have to remember that she was part of the team that stopped Saren. She's already been promoted and who knows what Anderson had her doing during the 2 years Shepard was dead. She was sent into the terminus systems for pete's sake and the Alliance and council aren't welcome there, so she must at least be special forces.grifter024 wrote...
I still dont think she will be a spectre...thats like one of the highest positions in citadel armed forces and they are going to give it to Ashley WILLIAMS?!
I love her but again you have to remember her past and why she was on Eden Prime and how the alliance has been low balling her.

**** NO. NO TEMPORARY DAMN IT!!!!
Come on Bioware, we haven't had Ash by our side since ME1, and got a 1 minute glimpse of her in ME2, on terrible terms.
Kicking us while we're down by making her our squadmate, then taking her away again is just...no...NO.

you're forgetting Kaidan gets that same "baby sitting job" and I doubt they'd send a staff commander to "baby sit" Councilor Anderson puts Ashley on the crew anyway so he knows she's incredibly skilled so he could possibly vounche for her abilites to become the second human Spectre, not to mention that Shepard can give her a recommendation as well (mine actually does). She's has friends in high places and we all know that's a sure fire wa to get ahead in life.grifter024 wrote...

OR like they said the "Williams," Name is lowballed everywhere and you think anyone in the Terminus systems would really care that much she would go over? Then you have to wonder what she was doing there in the first place....it didnt look like she was on a prominent planet and like the IM said it was in the outskirts faraway from most places in the Term system. She looked like she was babysitting and not really given a pretty big job besides waiting to see if cerb/collectors would show.
And even IF they showed she didnt look like she had a foce to fight with so all she would have done was relay the info back to Citadel Anderson.
I just cant see them giving her Spectre status even WITH a human controlled govt....a higher rank maybe but not spectre status.....and doesnt it have to be put to a vote who becomes a spectre by the majority of species?
