THe tali guys are going crazies! I found this interesting

I can tell you guys that we're pretty aware of Tali's popularity...we pay more attention than you think :D

Weird....I wonder if anyone would have came on and told us the same thing if Ash wasnt shown or tlaked about in the GI issue. Not to mention how fast the response was.

Same would of happened here if Tali was announced instead of Ash, but Ash fans deserve it more than Tali's, she's been a squadmate in both games. They do take it all very seriously though, have you read the rules? Break them on pain of death!

Honestly I'm not sure why anyone is already jumping to conclusions. This is the first information for a game that isn't coming out til November. It's way to early for any of the fanbase to start jumping to conclusions. Now, say if it was October and the Devs still hadn't said anything about Tali, then yeah, paranoia would be understandable.

What I meant to say wsa when the GI was leaked and there was no word about tal's they went crazy.

Then not a day goes by and someone from the Bio team goes into the thread and says "Dont worry we know she is popular."

I was just wondering IF it was the other way around and the VS still didnt have any info if someone form the Bio team would come in as fast as they did for tals.

well, when arrival came out and there was a collective disappointment from VS fans - bioware person paid a visit to both this thread and Kaidan's to reassure us. so yeah, I think they would visit.

Yes, that was nice of them.  Every once in awhile I'm reminded why I dig the Bioware devs.

So I'm really thinking Ash is a spectre now. I just get that vibe from kaiden's and her armor. Color wise they're also very similar to that dark blue that the spectre in LotSB wears.

edit: It just totally hit me in the face. She's obviously isn't just alliance anymore with that hairdo. That isn't regulation cut at all. She's got to be a spectre.

Really I dont remember them coming in...I remember milla sending them an email or something and them getting to us that way but not in the thread.

Until the game comes out I still cant see her as a Spectre. The first ever human spectreis going to trial right now ....I doubt the human/alien govt will want to add another human spectre when the most famous human spectre is going to trial.

Then again they might have made her a Spectre to track Shep down and bring him in....LI or not due to her work ethic.

I just cant see it happening though...promotion yes but not Spectre status.

My money's on her being a Corsair like Jacob was.

Going on what Jacob tells us, Corsairs are the Alliance's version of a Council Spectre.

Who's to say that Shep's with the Alliance at all in ME3.. It seems he's split from Cerberus since they're out to kill him now, and I doubt he'd rejoin the Alliance cos... well... what do they have to offer him that he doesn't already have? And even if he was with them again, the decision to re-instate him would probably happen after the trial..And now that we know what happens during the trial I'd say that's probably not gonna happen. Anyway, I'm just saying that since Ash is a squaddie now, it may be because she's left the Alliance to join Shep.. Though.. I think this would only happen if she was given no other choice, since being an Alliance soldier is in her blood and all.. but just knowing how ME3 starts... I think all bets are off.

I wonder if they'll reintroduce Ashley as a Bi-option. I mean she was supposed to be one in ME1 but it was removed dureing development thta we know. Not to mention she looks like she took some tips from Miranda and deep down we know Miranda has experienced the splendours of the fairer sex from time to time in her past. Even if, I might add, she somehow resisted the urge to shag FemShep.

I hope Ash is because I want her romance on the 360 too!Posted Image

Ash is a Spectre? Not likely in my opinion. Ash hates politics - if she would become a Spectre, she would have to co-operate with the Council. Besides, she still dislikes aliens and everybody knows that, not only Salarians and Shepard. I would rather believe she is promoted to LT.

Ash: Shepard I was so worried about you when I heard your head blew up! Are you okay?

Shepard: *Gravelly Jen Hale voice* I got better.

*Badpie's Femshep combusts*

That scenario sound about right? :D

I find it very strange that some people are complaining that she looks more attractive...

I really enjoyed Ashley's personality, and her wonderful voice, in Mass Effect 1, but she just looked alright. I've always imagined her with her hair down... SWEET!! lol If she wasn't getting what TV tropes calls a "Fanservice Pack", she'd look weird like Zevran did in DA2, and nobody wants that!
http://tvtropes.org/.../FanServicePack

Has anyone actually got the Game Informer spread on ME3 in their hands? Because saying that she is "playable to some extent" doesn't make sense to me. Does this mean that she is a temporary companion, A la Layer of the Shadow Broker? Or does it mean that we get to PLAY HER, A la Joker????

EDIT: I'm doubt the magazine is more specific then that, but it can't hurt to look... Don't spend too many hours on TVTropes.com!

Speaking personally, I just can't viably see Ashley as a person who would swing both ways.

I believe the term AD used is "Shepard-sexual".

Not very hard to believe that a woman could fall for Fem!Shep when there's also a thousand year old genderless asari and a psychotropic substance-laced assassin drell.

Agreed. I cannot picture it. I have a hard time playing as a Female Shep anyway. The Male Shepard just
feels right in my opinion. Maybe it is because I am so wrapped up in my canon male Shep/Ashley romance.
In my other playthrough, my Female Shep and Ash were best friends.

Edit:    And they'll stay that way in ME3 regardless of possible LI.

I completely agree with you Midnight! If they didn't romance Ash in ME1... they shouldn't get the HONOR of romancing her in ME3!

While I get that this opinion was being a little embellished here, I think the general sentiment is a little elitist.

I think that Ashley being available for independant romancing would be fine, as long as it didn't override the ME1 romance path.

It'd set a new spin on the "You were more than our commander" line on Horizon for non-Shepley Shepards.

I believe that term is correct! She wasl already supposed to be bisexual anyhow but that Fox News bit freaked out the Mass Effect team so they buried it in unused files. especially if she realized how much she truly cared for Shepard when they died. It wouldn't be unreasonable for her to realize her feelings after the attack and during the 2 years of Shepard's death. Who could possibly resist Shepard's protagonist charms?Posted Image

yeah those people shouldn't get a chance. Ash should give a quiz on herself that changes alot so you ccan't just look up the right answer's on youtube, or it should depand on your paragon/renegade scores from ME2 and up to whatever point it is in ME3. Decisions decisions.Posted Image

I agree with Indigo about it being a little elitist. Yet I can't help feeling that Reed is right! Kind of makes me sick that people would want to do that just for the sex scenes. Game or not, it gives an impression of who and what the person is like behind the monitor.
