I also thought of something. People who'd say Ash wouldn't want to be a spectre because serving the Allinace is i her blood, remember before Shepard Udina was petitioning for ahuman spectre for years, I'm sure he and Anderson would love nothing than to have TWO human spectre's especially since Humanities on the council or IS the council.

I still remember HAckett saying "you might be a spectre but you're still alliance" so I think she'd still be taking Orders from the alliance. I don't care what retribution says anderson's still ym ocuncilor,I'll put a bullet in Udina's head if i have to.Sylvianus wrote...

Ashley dislikes politics, dislikes the council, dislikes Udina who replace Anderson ( mass effect retribution ). There is no reason for her to accept to be a spectre, outside the Alliance, respond to council's orders, above humanity's interests.

I doubt Ahsley would ever become a Spectre. First off, she lacks..certain diplomatic skills needed to operate across the galaxy filled with aliens, her blunt and aggressive manner would likely be seen as a liability. Second, she said herself that she's an Alliance soldier through and through, I doubt she'd even want to be a Spectre. And third, there are more field experienced officers in the Alliance for her to be on the top of the list for the Spectre candidacy.

If Ashley is a SpecTRe, then it was not her choice but her duty. I can't see her really wanting the job, but she would take it if Anderson told her to. Ultimately I don't think she has the qualities necessary for a SpecTRe. They're pretty damn choosy and went through maybe hundreds of potentials just to whittle it down to Shepard. She probably wasn't even in that elite group. She's certainly intelligent and capable enough, but I don't see her being what they would want in a poster girl.
My vote is something entirely different and very special ops. For Kaidan too.

Urgh. No. Got busy at work. Soon!
But she could see it as following in Shepard's footsteps. Ashley's number one priority to me seems to be the protection of the Alliance and humanity at large. I think that if she believed that she would best serve this end by becoming a Spectre, she would accept the offer.
Or her superiours could've made it an express order
Can I have the link please ?Started reading SilverRoses' , and all I can say is "Wow!"

Yeah it's true. But it would be weird, she was so hard about the council. I don't see her obey their commands xDCan I have the link please ?Started reading SilverRoses' , and all I can say is "Wow!"

I agree. Like I wrote a little while ago her MVC (in her case S7) has to do with her proficiency, not rank. The letter notes the career path, the number the level of experience. The number 7 means that she is brilliant in whatever the letter S is supposed to do. I could not find out what that S stands for.Lord Zeuss wrote...
I think it's most likely that Ashley still has the same rank, but is occupying some special position. This was hinted at in ME2.
