What do you think Ash's favourite colour is?

What do you think Ash's idea of a good night out is?

What kind of music do you think she likes?

What kind of books do you think she likes reading? (aside from poetry)

What's her favourite food?

Do you think she has any artisitic merit? She likes poetry, but do you think she's any good at writing it? Painting perhapes?

What's Ash's idea of a great holiday?

Favorite color? I think she is partial to pink... I like to think that she thinks it's a cute color, but that she doesn't want to let anyone know that she likes it. Like the whole... "Just b/c I can drill you b/w the eyes at a hundred meters, doesn't mean I can't like sensative stuff" quote of hers. XD

A good night out? I think she's the type of girl that would love to go tailgating at a football game and having some beers with the guys...

Music? Um... I think she'd listen to all different kinds of music... but that she'd mainly go for classic rock. Something that you can kill geth to. haha!

Books? hmm, since I'm not a big reader myself... I really don't know... I think she'd want something with a little action in it and not just some sappy love story. 

Pets? I don't think she has one... but I think if she were to have one that she'd totally have a dog. 

Food? She likes all sort of stuff and since she likes to stay in shape, she loves her salads... but I think her favorite would be a nice greasy pizza! haha

Artsy fartsy? nah... while she does love her poetry, I don't think she would be a good writer, b/c as she says... "other people are better at saying what I mean than I am." I think she'd rather go to the firing range rather than paint or draw, but that's just me. lol

Holiday? Definitely surrounded by her family.... her family is like the most important thing to her and I don't see her spending it with anyone else... of course, Shepard would be along for the ride... and maybe they'd go somewhere cold... so they could cuddle up by the fire.

I liked how the "hillbilly" Ash commentor said that he lives in Hong Kong with all the Chinese/Japanese/SE/E Asians and because it is so diverse there he doesn't understand racism. But apparently in America because it is in no way diverse, we're all racist just like Ash.

All the characters I enjoy in Mass Effect have some flaw or something like it that makes me feel connected (or have a good voice actor like Zaeed ). I dislike Tali, Jack, Jacob, Kaiden, and Grunt because of this, (in Jack's case she has too many problems... way too many) they simply are wooden characters who ruin the immersion. But that is just my opinion and even though I'm awesome, should not cause fans of those characters to hate me.

I had a thought today, do you think that the Virmire survivour would want to talk about the Virmire casualty? In ME1 it was too early and they were to distraught to do anything other than rebuke Shepard. But in ME3, after they make up I would love to see them reminiscing about their old crewmate who sacrificed their life. It doesn't even have to be a long conversation, just a few well written lines would do it for me. It would be especially epic if the Virmire casualty was Shepard's love interest.

Alenko: Hey, Shepard? Do you think Ash would have acted differently if it was her you met on Horizon?
*A fond look glazed over Shepard's eyes as he reminisced about his old Gunnery Chief*
Shepard: I doubt it, if anything she would have acted worse. She always had a mouth on her, that one. Alliance through and through, too.
*Alenko paused for a few moments before continuing the discussion*
Alenko: Do you still think about her?
*Shepard's smile dropped and he slowly turned to face the ground.*
Shepard: Everyday, Alenko. Every.. day.

Blargh, slow day. I was expecting some updatied fanfics on fanfiction.net but the site doesn't seem to be working properly. So I just wrote my own!
Edit: Wait, no. After rereading, my vague attempt at humour turned horribly disturbing. I'm sorry. Going to go wait for more Untitled Effects now.

Hi, new here. I completed an Ashley romance game for the first time since '07 in honor of the new pictures. To be perfectly honest, I wasn't expecting much. Ashley isn't normally my type, and I'm a Kaidan girl at heart. I was proceeding along more or less indifferently until the locker scene. I have a weakness for scenes of people saying I love you without actually saying those words so "I want you to be happy" made me smile. And the teasing banter in the love scene was fantastic. It felt very real and affectionate. The thing I like most, though, is how equal the relationship feels. Ashley doesn't need you to fix her or shore up her self-esteem. She has issues, but she's more or less dealing with them. I very much get the sense that she would be fine on my non-romance games, which makes her more appealing as a romance partner.

So, you have a convert.

No real reason behind asking these, just passing the time...

Favorite Color: Alliance Blue duh...

Night Out:  Depends on what kind of mood she's in.. If she's feeling romantic I'd say putting on a nice dress and going out to dinner..  But if she's feeling playful, going to her favorite bar where she's referred to by the owners as "Williams", drinking micro brews, playing space darts and pool, (space pool lol) having a few too many and singing bad kareoke. 

Music:  Once again depends on her mood... I can see her listening to stuff like Tori Amos or Portishead when she's alone, but blasting Slayer or Sepultura in her helmet while she's blowing up baddies..

Books:  She wants to read, but every time she tries to pick up a good book she finds herself neglecting it to her duties and never gets the chance to finish... She does however read the Sunday funnies in her newspaper religiously.

Pets:  Hopefully she's had some experience with fish... That way in ME3 she can show Shepard how to keep his alive..

Favorite Food:  Comfort foods... they remind her of home.  I read one entry where someone (can't remember who) said "the hotter the better"... I tend to agree with this but also believe she keeps a bottle of her favorite hot sauce on hand at all times.. Unless she's in battle of course. 

Artistic:  I think she tried to write poetry when she was younger, but decided, other people say what she means better than she does and stopped...  I don't think she has any raw artistic skills really, but that she has a respect and appreciation for the arts in general..  

Great Holiday:  One she can spend with her family.  Getting them all in the same room at the same time is a scarce treat that she values beyond most, if not all other things.

Anyone else notice the increase of "Ash" threads since the Game Informer article was released?
Unfortunately, it seems to be mostly slanted towards the hate side.
Makes me wonder if a lot of these posters truly don't care for the character or if they are trolling. I guess it's pretty easy to stir up a hornet's nest when you can do it anonymously.

First off, @jtav: Considering that you're one of my favorite ff writers, I'm beyond thrilled that you're an Ash convert!!!  (Not that I'm implying that you should celebrate by writing an Ash/Shep fic, but if that happened to be a result, I would be totally supportive).

I can see her enjoying a night out at a bar/dance club with her sisters.  Spending time together and blowing off steam.

Hip-hop.  I see her liking hip-hop/rap with a catchy beat.

I think she'd be a fan of the classics: Dickens, Tolstoy, Joyce.  I think she wants her books to have substance and meaning rather than just be pure entertainment.  She's deep like that.  (Or is it snobby like that?)

With the Williams' moving around so much when Ash was little, and the nightmare it must be to get a pet through interstellar customs... I don't see any pets.

For some reason, I have an image of her favorite treat being chocolate soft-serve ice cream.  I don't know where this came from.

I think she probably wishes she could draw and/or write (and maybe she's better at it than she thinks) but not a tone of ability.

What's Ash's idea of a great holiday?

I'm assuming we mean "specific day of celebration" and not "vacation."  Everyone else seems to have hit the nail on the head: family and good times.  And maybe a carefully engineered plan to get out of cleanup, lol.

Yeah I've found that I can't log in and sometimes thee chapters don't update even though the email says its up. It's working at the moment though. I'm going to read badpies after I'm done with mine, untitled effect is long! Maybe I'll print it out!

@MillaShepard .... You captured Ash (or at least the Ash in my RP) very well in the questionaire. The only difference for me is that I can see Ash listening to The Smiths "Panic", Siouxsie and the Banshees "Dear Prudence" and The Cure's "Lovecats" while blowing away the enemy. There is a little flashback 80's KROQ gal in Ash. I can also hear Oingo Boingo's "Little Girls" as a geth hits the pavement.
