So did they ever confirm or deny any future DLC for Ashley/Kaiden? I felt that her part in ME2 was even more disappointing than Liara's.

Arrival was the last ME2 DLC, and did not feature Ashley or Kaidan. We're in for the whole wait until ME3.

We agree. When Ash said " I almost ", she talk about suicide. It almost ended her life beacause of shepard's death.

I don't agree that that's what she meant.  I don't think Ash would ever commit suicide.  She's not selfish enough to do that to her family.  We'll never really know what she meant, but I thought it was as simple as stammering and not being able to get the words out right.

It can be anything but selfish, but being really in love. It means really something. Ashley really loved Shep, I think she was really upset by the death of her skipper ( much admiration ) and her love in the same time.

Precisely, Ashley just wanted to put end her life in thought, but finally did not because she found the reason, has overcome this injury ( thanks to her sense of duty, her family etc ) , which is its strength and personality.

I don't buy it.  It's totally out of character for her.  She's a strong woman who deals with loss, maybe not in the healthiest of ways, but she deals.  And she has a really good support system in her family.  She's just not that dramatic no matter how much she was hurting.  Ash is the type that no matter how bad she's hurting she puts on a brave face.  That's just who she is.  Not to mention she had work to do.  She had a cause worth fighting for especially now that Shepard couldn't.

Obviously she struggled and had a real hard time - really hard - but if that statement meant anything I feel like it would mean something like "I almost quit (the Alliance, believing there was a way to stop the Reapers, etc)."  But no.  Ash isn't the suicidal type.

Yah maybe quit the alliance... But it appears to me, that it's not enough important that she stop  suddenly, full of emotions ..

You know what, sometimes I really do love my wife. As you all know there is a big piece on ME3 in the new GameInformer magazine, and I've searched all over for it and finally found that GameStop carries the mag but the edition with ME3 won't come out for another week or so. Rats. So I open my mailbox today and what do I see? CHRISTMAS! I forgot when my wife did a favor for me and went to Gamestop to buy Gran Turismo 5 she signed up for their free program or whatever that included a subscription to GameInformer. So there on the front cover of a piece of today's mail was Commander Shepard starting at me.

I read the article and gleaned a couple additional tidbits us Ash fans might be interested in. First, on the first page of the piece there is a picture showing three key people together: Shepard, Liara (no surprise there), and....Kaidan. To me Kaidan being one of the three pictured on the article's cover page is HUGE because if he had a ******-ant cameo or something they'd have gone with someone else, like Garrus. And since we all know Kaidan basically equals Ashley, I think we'll be seeing a lot of our girl. (And hopefully in more ways than one LOL although I can find good side-boob elsewhere).

Second, when talking about the Normandy it confirms that Shepard is back as an Alliance line officer. Out-standing. Even without Ashley that's how I was hoping it would be, but tell me that doesn't hurt the chances of our two favorites getting back together. Also, it says that the Alliance is basically taking apart the Normandy to study (or took it apart), which is great to hear because that's exactly what would happen in RL (again, given the universe LOL). That thing blasted a way more advanced larger alien cruiser, darn right if I was Alliance I'd have the Normandy apart faster than you could say "hand me that wrench."

I don't think Ash would kill herself because she compared the loss of her dad to the loss of Shepard and she never even mentioned suicide because of that before.

I saw the scan and I would like to say she looks good with her hair down but I'm wondering about her eyebrows. Is it just the scan that makes it look like she has no eyebrows, just me, or is that how she looks now. If that was fixed and her hair was darkened she would look perfect. I have great expectations from Mass Effect 3.
