I think if you said that Ash would probably go back for joker.

Mmmkay, y'all. Ash-related question. How much time passes, do you think, between Horizon and when Ash sends her note? The game doesn't really say. I was thinking 2-3 weeks, but now I'm thinking it could be longer.
there's no way to know...fans will just think of a time they want to...

I would say about that yes, but it could be longer if you spend hours mining planet's, hours are like day's in ME. It would be good if ME had a timer like in the Fallout games.

And coming back to the question who I think was more mad at Jokers interruption during the locker scene...
I think it was Shepard. My Shep wanted to do that for a long time and just when Ash gave him the green light and he thought it would finally happen... couldn´t Joker have waited 10 more seconds?!
But some day I will get my revenge on Joker... some day...

It's cool, don't worry! I just didn't want people to think I'm using Claudia Black as an Ashley reference, LOL. I try to have a thick skin about criticism, but I do have some professional pride. And like I said, I understand that it really *isn't* in character for Ash. Although I do think that if Shepard has been really, really good...![]()
Seriously, most of us love your work. We are in the process of exterminating the heretics.

Second topic: I don't know just how long it took her to get to the Citadel but I imagine the realization of what Shepard was doing came pretty quick so I imagine...1-2 weeks.

That actually lead to much debate on the Kaidan thread.LiamN7 wrote...
I have never really thought about it. It didn't seem long till Ash sent the email. But time lines have always been a problem for me. They could do a better job of giving us a feel for how long the time is between different parts of the game.
I remember we were discussing whether or not you should be allowed to resume your LI1 relationship if you cheated. Most people were like know. From Shepard's perspective you were dating two weeks ago and BAM! Check out this pyschadelic lizard.
But then others contended that had to take some time to gather all those people and make the improvements to your ship so it was probably more like 6 months.

Damn, I have never killed a thread so well.
On the topic at hand I say it is about 2-3 weeks before Shepard receives Ashley's letter after Horizon.

Did you paragon or renegade Ashley? Or left her as is?
I unashamedly paragoned her - if not only for that dialogue option where I can ask her if she'd kiss anyone I ordered her to.

To go outwith the context of the game, what makes a strong squad or team is the fact the everyone will have a unique viewpoint and opinion. To take that away and have everyone with similar mindsights, with no one to oppose or object to any ideas would seriously impact the integrity of the team.
Besides, I fully respected and appreciated her character as she was, and felt no need to try and change her into someone else.
You must remember Ashley is a soldier, and what could be considered by some to a negative attitude and distrust towards others (aliens), personally I seen as a good thing, sharing similar an outlook myself. A soldier must always be prepared and expecting the worst situation, that isn't to say they are hoping for it however, but they have expected it as a possilble outcome.

as for the paragon issue i always paragon her....as some have stated there is nothing wrong with her views, shes pro human/alliance wich means she only really cares about advanceing her own race thats perfectly undertsand able too anyone who has an open mind.....HOWEVER seing as my shep is paragon and belives in inter speacis coperation with one another ashleys views can be problomatic.....plus she becomes more open minded if you paragon her which is always a good thing.

I agree with her opinions, actually. I just think she needs to soften them somewhat. Not everyone is out to get humanity but on the other hand many bear less than noble intentions towards us. so it's an understandable viewpoint. You must remember Ashley is a soldier, and what could be considered by some to a negative attitude and distrust towards others (aliens), personally I seen as a good thing, sharing similar an outlook myself. Put that down to poor wording on my part, I'm sure you all do. I was simply trying to state why would anyone try change her outlook at all it wasn't something you held against her.drunken pyromaniac wrote...

I do not believe in God. Ashley does, I will disagree with her over this matter, but I'm not going to dislike her because of it or try to turn her into an atheist. It is afterall her own opinions and beliefs.

As long as she is capable of at least being civilised towards other species when needed, which she has clearly demonstrated. I see no problem.
