I'd have to agree with this here; it didn't really seem very long until I got her email, although I understand how the in-game time frames are nowhere near how we perceive them as players. In any case, SilverRose went with 2 weeks -- so no point in saying anything now.Errol Dnamyx wrote...
Well, I think she sends the mail shortly after she got back to the citadel to report to Anderson. She got picked up just after the attack by alliance vessels and the trip to the citadel takes... hmm, maybe 24 hours (?), she reports to anderson, goes to her quarters or a hotel room and tries to sleep. However, we all know that she is in too much emotional turmoil to sleep anyway and that´s when she sits down in front of her terminal and decides to put her thoughts on paper. Shep receives it maybe 48h after they met each other. (in game its just one mission)
And coming back to the question who I think was more mad at Jokers interruption during the locker scene...
I think it was Shepard. My Shep wanted to do that for a long time and just when Ash gave him the green light and he thought it would finally happen... couldn´t Joker have waited 10 more seconds?!
But some day I will get my revenge on Joker... some day...

No need to start unnecessary trouble. I understand where you're coming from. Take it easy, have fun, and welcome to the thread.Sixth Goul wrote...
I'm just playing, you Ash fans have got to lighten up and technical I'm not trolling, this is a support site for Ashley Williams isn't it? I do support Ashley Williams of Mass Effect for Mass Effect 3. Not as a romance, but as a party member, I did enjoy her wit and distrust of aliens, made it easy for my Shepard to spew his propaganda. I really have nothing bad to say about Williams, she's the second best female in the Mass Effect series, number one in Mass Effect one. Oh and your welcome, I started your thread back up again.

I think she did at a very young age, she must have been into alot of history in school and no doubt her dad and granddad told her alot about her family history in the military. I think Shanxi made her all the more determind to join and restore her family honnor.

Its a family thing for her. Going back to her great grand mother I think. So I think she decided very early.
Yeah me too, I think she'd want to join as much as anything, to uphold her family's honour.

Well, she JOINED the Alliance right after high school. But when she discovered she wanted to do so... I guess as it's been said, runs in the family.Funkcase wrote...
Hey everyone, when do you think Ash discovered she wanted to join the Alliance?

Yeah but i see Shanxi gave her that more motivation to succeed and to be the best ''a Williams has to be better than the the best, if only to avoid suspicion''. I wonder if she would have been a better soldier had Shanxi never happend? I guess she would have alway's been good, but that weight on her shoulders has probabaly done wonders to her abilities.

i think she would have been a GOOD soldier if she didnt have the shanxi thing hanging over head.but she would just have devloped an attitude that a half ass attempt would get the job done most of the time.i think the shanxi incedidnt makes her a GREAT soldier.seeing has she wont get promotions as often it makes her push herself harder than most (excluding shep and anderson) alliance personnel.like most heros they preform at peak when a great weight and responsablitiy is put upon them.Funkcase wrote...

at this point in time none of us really know for sure what this so called "big role" will be aloutgh many of us have speaculated.....it could range anywhere from them being a NPC with more screen time as newly appointed admiral that you must persuade/reconcil with so that they will lend you there aid of the alliance forces for the battle. or they may return as a sqaud mate and get more dialogue than before.....as i said its still unknow.Sixth Goul wrote...
Now that we have that miss communication out of way; I hear that the survivor of Virmire is going to have a big role in mass effect 3,I wonder how this would effect their stats as a party member. As an added note what of those other human candidates for spectre status, how will they factor in.

She will return as a squadmate in Me3 from beginning to the very end. If we say it often enough it will become true!

@Ashlover, I hope she is a squad mate, but i doubt she will have more dialogue than she had in ME1 she had more dialouge in ME1 than every squad mate in ME1 and ME2, Ash was a rare thing a caracter who is a LI and a friend. If you play as femShep you will notice you can develope a very close friendship with Ash.
i agree, out of all the charecters bioware has made for the ME universe i really think they put the most effort into makeing these charecters
1.Ashley williams
2.Garrus
3.Wrex
4.Legion
every one else's story/charecter seems rather unitersting or unorginal IMO.
