Her combat skills are great. Ash was on special mission from Anderson. She got promoted to Operations Chief. In my opinion Ashley should get in ME3 new military code.

Thanks, we can only hope!  Assuming that Liara is your favorite based on the avvie?  I'm sure just as many hearts were ripped out on your thread after Illium as they were here after Horizon.  Here's hoping that the ME1 LIs get what they deserve (in a good way) in ME3!

Well somewhere Casey Hudson said that if your Shepard was loyal to the ME1 LI then we would get some sort of payment for it in ME3.

True.  Just hoping Casey and I see eye-to-eye on what constitutes a reward.  No more cameos or emails, just bring back dat Ash and let's have an actual reunion.  We've had the sad second act; I want happy in the third.

Haha everyone with an LI from ME1 or ME2 wants a happen ending. Though I do hope the one with Ash goes well.

Definitely. I think that a lot of people on the thread (when they're here on the thread) aren't necessarily pushing for the white picket fence and 2.5 kids kind of ending, though I know some who would strongly be in favor of it.

I'd really love to see several different paths the relationship could take instead of trying to force one actuality on us. Just can't see my Shep getting married by the end of ME3, even if it would be to Ash.

I hope they leave the ending open but happy so that we may imagine whatever particular end we want without some canon ending only some will like.

QFT - although if they do something like "The Graduate", not sure I'd be a fan.
Either way, as long as we get some semblance of resolution and closure, it'd go a long way.  I'm not liking how things are left so open-ended with Ash in ME2.

Yeah, I mean more in the vein of Shepard and his\\her LI leaning into each other and smiling at each other on some scenic vista. Happy but up to you where it goes in your head. Unlike KOTOR's crappy LI resolution. My Revan was done with Jedi damnit!

I personally am not a fan of the white picket fence. Though I understand why some would want that. I'd prefer that when the game ends you get a scene with Shepard and the LI, but before anything can happen something comes off and Shepard goes into action to save the galaxy again.

@night - I really hope that Shepard doesn't always have to be savior of the galaxy. I liked that line he said (can't remember if it's ME1 or 2) when he said he doesn't always want to do this forever. Back to Ash - don't think she'd want him always saving the galaxy either.

Actually I would love to see the product of a battle hardened Marine and an N7 gone Spectre returned from the dead as a cyborg gone rogue!

Could you imagine the names they'd have to come with for those kids?

Nah, it was to Grunt, Shepard says he\\\\she doesn't want to do this forever and Grunt say that attitude will get Shepard killed.

i could see them on a farm in a far off planet, with some sort of Marine combat death house that they keep their skills up in with some kids, i could also see Shepered getting killed somehow and at the end you see the Li(for most of us here Ash) with child or something.
