Wow atleast when I say Liara has no personalty, I state facts that prove that point. This guy must have romanced her and now feels that bioware is forcing the conecpt of "cheating" which I to feel shouldn't exist in Mass Effect in the way its presented, I can understand being upset at Bioware for the Horizon incident, but still no reason to bash a character for that. On that note, I think that's the reason for the 180 on these characters.

i agree, no one can romance ash and say she has NO personality you may not like her personality after you play through the romance but she definatley has one.hes just an ashley hater wholl prob spew the same reasons they all say when you ask them why they dont like her....hell say shes racist against aliens and that shes a ****.OP of that thread isnt even worth takeing seriosly.

Ashley has a ton more personality then a lot of the characters. Someone didn't take the time to go through the dialog tree.

If Ash had no personality, I guarantee she'd have a lot less haters. If she had no personality, she wouldn't be threatening to anyone's RPG god-pretensions or image of the ideal female companion. If she had no personality, she there'd be nothing for people to hate on, and thus no reason for these silly arguments that she has no personality in the first place.

Given the differences in military doctrine between humans and turians, I wonder how Ash would do if she were assigned to a turian ship (for reasons similar to those in a particular Star Trek TNG episode) and a typical turian officer were assigned to the Normandy (a typical turian military officer, not another Garrus).

i think ash would thrive in a turian military ship....she might have too put up with **** from some turians who are still sore from the first contact war but shed kick there ass when they would allow them too fight it out in one of those spareing matchs that they have too blow off steam(i hope she dosnt end up sleeping with one afterward)....i think other turians would respect her ablities though ash is tough, determinded, and smart she could keep up with them.i think shed get along with most aswell soacil wise...she had no problems with garrus in fact id even go sa far as too say that the two are friends.

Yeah, there'd definitely be some friction. The commanding officers would likely do everything within reasonable limits to make her life miserable, but I have a feeling she'd be an instant hit with a lot of the younger, lower-ranked crewmembers.
