You're right it is a "not a big deal" type of change. Sexulity isn't really a defining trait. I'm not who I am because I'm straight, I'm who I am for other reason's that aren't based on my sexuality Ashley isn't who she is because of hers and the same goes for Kaidan and any other character in this series.

*You* don't see it as a defining trait. I do. That's the point I'm trying to make. Your point of view doesn't override mine, and mine doesn't override yours.

Suppose I'm the only one that's partial to her original Pheonix armor look. I hope they just take that armor and color scheme and upgrade it so to speak. I like the red/pink and white look it's "her" look to me. She had the most unique and definitave starting armor of the ME1 crew and I would often times keep the Pheonix armor on her even late in the game when I had armors that were way better stat-wise.

And btw, hello Ashley thread. Always liked Ash glad to hear she'll be returning as a squaddie in ME3.

I cant wait to see Ash interact with Miri. and i dont mean catfight. Ash is anything but superficial. i dont think she will get in the boat i was forced in with my femshep, going all <poor you Miri it must be tough to be so perfect. And it could give a good opportunity to Miri to show what shes made of when someone doesnt care too much for her looks. I know Ash will do great but i still hope Miri can surprise me in a good way.

I'm flexible with whatever armour they'll make for her in ME3 (as long as it's practical, everyone's being styled by their original designers so I'm not worried) painted white/pink for my Male!Shep playthrough.

My Fem!Shep had uniforms, though. She liked the bumblebee scheme

Do you guys want medium or heavy armor? I prefer a hybrid, I think the heavy armor looks too clunky but she is a soldier so she should have good protection. Maybe she could have one armored shoulder and one non armored one. And pink and white Phoenix for standard. Black and pink alternate.

I'm worried that they're going to butcher her personality and actually make her xenophobic. And based on what the ME2 website states, and what she says on Horizon, that's the route that's going for her. They seem to have forgotten how L'Etoile made her. I'm worried she's going to be hardened and abrasive in personality, and not the sarcastic, sexy, poetry-loving girl that we on the 1.1 love.

I hope you're wrong, and that nagging worry is proven wrong when the game finally comes....I hope

I wish L'Etoile stayed for Ashley's integrity as a character at least.  Honestly I haven't had high hopes for her since I heard he left.  The only way I can feel better about it is if the same person who wrote Aveline does the writing for Ashley.  I honestly feel that anyone else will rip right through her as fast as possible to get her done.

You can get it in your first visit to the Citadel.There's an observation point between the Medical Clinic and the Upper Markets within the Upper Wards.Just make sure you have Kaidan with you too.I usually trigger the conversation after I visit the council the first time.

Before you get Wrex or Garrus, across from Flux and the corridor leading to the Presidium, examine the cue that crops up on the observation platform.
