So I can't have Garrus yet? Dammit... Why didn't they make it so it was just the first visit? Oh well, not redoing an hour of gameplay no matter what the quote was. Damn you BW for making me have this tinge of regret... damn you.Not even watching it on Youtube could sate my desire to see that quote for my shepard.

No lie, in my first playthrough I screwed up my romance with Ash and Liara came into the room before Ilos.Here I am saying to myself "WTF where's Ash?" So I started all over again.Never made that mistake again.

Not gonna acknowledge that last part, we all know that's bull. Personally, I like that she's tough and brash. Shy and submissive chicks are a no-no.

If they do make her racist it'd be kind of like using the same scene that has evidence of her not being one as partial justification for her being written as a racist.

I kind of had the same fear as you guys about making her racist, but then I gave it some more thought and the idea of making a character worse to pander to the crowd the hates her seems like a bizarre notion.

Maybe they'll make her racist because they figure that only pro-human Shepard's chose her? So they decided to make her a specifically tailored as the "Human supremacist romance?"

Because that translates exactly to the fact she is racist, not citing the fact she has worked with salarians, didn't join an extremist group, hates Terra Firma, and hell I could go on and on. The point is you are just looking at one phrase out of the many she's said.

In metagame, that was weird. Even if you paragon'd her she still says that. Anyone know if L'Etoile was still on the team when she was decided to say that?

In universe, she says she's not a fan. Doesn't mean she hates them. My Shepard distrusts Quarians and Batarians, he still helped Lia'Vael and that sick Batarian because they were dealt a bad hand in life.

Also: While googling "dealt a bad hand" to confirm whether or not it was a real phrase, first result that came up was "I'm sorry that you were dealt a bad hand Ashley."

I don't think TIM hates aliens (except maybe Batarians, they regularly invade and enslave humans after all), but simply thinks Humans shouldn't get too comfy with them. Like the original founders of Terra Firma. Both organisations just attracted a lot of attention from racists and xenophobes.
