Oh yeah. I'm thinking Kaidan will be in the demo since they always go with a male character and female character. Hopefully Ashley will be as badass as he'll look in the Demo since Kaidan is awesome.rynluna wrote...
I hope they show Ash and Kaidan in the upcoming demos. I'm a big Liara fan but I'd rather see A & K's updated looks and hopefully she will be sans the catsuit.

Same! I hate when I see "I just cant save Ash/Kaidan cuz I love Kaidan/Ash too much. Since they're missiing out on one of the best charcaters in the game.Brodyaha wrote...

I feel kind of bad for Kaidan because I didn't really want to lose him on Virmire. He did survive on about a couple of my playthroughs but I still haven't gotten around to finishing them all the way yet.

Trust me, I would have sacrificed any other member of the team to be able to keep them both! In the past I've always saved Kaidan simply by virtue of him being my femShep's LI. I am thinking of doing a maleShep runthrough just to romance Ash, but I admit I have a hard time getting very enthusiastic about playing as a dude. Partly because I have a harder time connecting to the PC and also partly because I honestly don't find Mark Meer's voice acting to my taste.
Now I wonder what happens in the locker scene afterward if your LI dies on Virmire... is there simply not one? And what happens during the night before Ilos?
And now I want to write a fanfic about this *Sigh* I need to finish the mammoth project I already started, though

No worries. Three Kaidan-save Sheps have made it into ME2, and are ready into ME3. I haven't gotten around to importing most of my Ash ones yet.

Since the mission is to blow the base, I always go back to the bomb ... gotta make sure the bomb isn't compromised. So whoever is there gets saved. As such, I flip a coin on who goes with the bomb since they both are capable in both positions.

Man... I don't think I could ever leave it up to a coin toss. I love Kaiden and all, but I love Ash a lot more. I do have one play through reserved for him though.

It's changed a few game plays, I will admit.
But it just seems the most honest and brutal as well as keeps the pressure on Virmire if I take the decision from Shepard's hands.
My poor Maleshep didn't breath until he mako'd his as5 to the bank, saw Ash then heard Kirrahe ask the question ... upon flipping the coin (only one throw allowed) I almost cheered when Ash won the toss.
Without leaving it to fate, Virmire would lose its punch to me. I like that punch and having to deal with it.
