Short and sweet. Do you have a minimum amout of words for your chapters or do you let them free flow? I try to do about 3K so I have 1500 for Kallen and 1500 for Ash's story , though Ash is going to get more since her arc is original and Spectre-y

Well he said main characters....so I suppose she plays a big enough role in ME3 which is good enough for me.

I don't think Ash worries much about her figure. She knows what she has and she rocks it. I'm talking from a strictly health and career angle I feel like she really works out. Sure she's not doing crunches in the armory like Jacob, but Ash is required to be a lean mean war machine. So I'm thinking she runs, spars and lifts weights quite a bit.

Ash is a practical girl, and staying in prime physical condition is a mandatory requirement for her job. There's also the "a Williams has to be better than the best" angle to consider, so staying in shape becomes an obligation (as if the Alliance soldier bit didn't already make it one; it's a point of pride now, pride in the healthy sense).

I try to keep somewhat uniform.  Untitled chapters have usually anwwhere between 5,000 and 6,000 words.  Fluff stuff like The Surpise it looks like 1500 -2500 words.

Oooo. I doubt I could write 6000 words per chapter with Ash. I might be a little too descriptive with things. "Ashley inhaled, thinking how great this day would be. She wiped her brow when she felt a small tingle on it..." tmi.

Ash has always struck me as a good dancer. You know the girls... the kind that can just get on a dance floor and casually look confident and comfortable doing almost nothing and yet they look amazing. I know, because I am not one of those girls.

My Shepard (and by extension me) isn't a dancer. If there's one definitive area where Ash makes my Shepard look like a chump, it's dancing.

Yeah My Shep doesn't dance. I think he tried it in high school once and that was it for him. XP
