I think this 'story bridging DLC' should tie up the loose end that is Shepard's rocky relationship with the Alliance. Ash could play a role here. The only other tie Shepard still seems to have in the Alliance is Anderson, though I know he will be busy according to the synopsis of the upcoming novel.

if there is some upcoming alliance related DLC i belive they will add in ash/kai i mean it just wouldnt make any sense not too,it would also be a GIANT F.U too the virmire survior fans if they didnt have them in it.

this would be Bioware "oh, heres some new DLC that is alliance related however ash/kai will not be makeing an apperance for some unknown and problay DUMB reasons....enjoy" Posted Image

Yeah, that would suck. They have to deal with this at some point. They could in ME3 I guess, but there's a lot more going on (TEH REAPERZ!) that should take priority, I think.

Ashely and Kaidan were the only characters with their heads screwed on right. If I were them I probably would have reacted in the same way, "Cerberus? Are you out of your gorge?" Then I would have knocked Shepard out and took her away from that BS.

I guess those rumors of Shepard's infallibility have been greatly exaggerated.

or it's announced that the story of ME3 will be told through various comics and DLC to be released over the next two years or so. (I can just see it; "Bioware announces Mass Effect 3 -- Main Story DLC for ME2")

I'm interested to know what us Ash fans' political slants are in the Mass Effect universe according to this poll. I think Ash primarily associates with the 'Solidarity' option, m'self. (Skewing the results much, you say?)

communication is rather impossiable when your signifacant other is your commanding officer like this

"I have too disagree with you skipper giveing aliens the run of our most advanced ship, KOW-TOWING to the coucil!!" "So you think me letting aliens onbaord was KOW-TOWING too the coucil huh." realizing she put her foot in her mouth "Uh....uh...that came out wrong...we may not always agree but you get the job done for the alliance."

well if Shepard is not her superior she would be more open to him...no rank to hold her back

I see her as either neutral/non-inteventionist or solidarity. I'm somewhere in between allied and neutral/non-interventionist, of course, this is within an universe without the impending threat of the reapers; I figure we'll be forced into a more prominent role because of that.

Solidarity in a way makes sense, but I'm more inclined that she would prefer not to intervene with Alien relations and thusly have them stay out of human affairs.  I suppose if you charm her up you could consider her allied, but that would work better for Kaidan.  Ashley even though she is of lower rank is pretty set militarily and I think this factors into how she views intergalactic politics.

Aye, some combination of several would most likely be more accurate. Not all of them are really mutually exclusive either. But ah well, one-vote polls, what're you gonna do?

Yep, also like I said since Ashley is a bit malleable it would also depend on how a character played on a specific playthrough.

New topic,ok so as we all know at then endof ME2 we are confonted with a choice much like the choice in ME1 (whiether you decided too save the council or not) this choice will likely shape the atmoshpere of ME3 and that choice is too either keep or destroy the collecter base.

now lets take cerberus out of the mix (beacuz wed know what ashley would say) and add in the alliance instead....now heres the the topic Would Ash want you to destroy the Collector base or use it? even after she was already informed of what it did too all the human colonist?

I honestly couldn't say for certain one way or another. I think that given the well-known dangers of conducting research on major Reaper tech (if Sovereign and the disabled Reaper speak of anything at all) she probably would conclude any serious knowledge that might be gained from in-depth study of the base would be more destructive than beneficial to the struggle against the Reapers. But I could be mistaken.

Oddly enough, I think Liara would want you to preserve the Collector base for study (if Cerberus were not in the picture), especially given the Collectors' Prothean ties. She did want to stick around and talk to Vigil on Ilos, after all.
