I'm still going with my prediction that Grunt would somehow get it into his head that Ashley is his mother.

What about EDI? Do you think Ashley would find her to be useful enough to look past the fact that she's an AI, or do you think she'd be really uncomfortable with her and think Shep is insane for utilizing her abilities. Or maybe a little bit of both?

EDIT: I think I may have already asked this once before.. Oh well.

Jacob: probably glad that he's alive (I think he was on the 212 with her), then wonder why on earth he's working for Cerberus.
Miranda: I think she would respect Miranda and her reasons for working with Cerberus, but ultimately disagree. 
Legion: freak out and question Shepard's sanity. Which anybody who had a geth kill their squad and work with Sovereign would have a right to.  Probably agree with Jacob to space him.
Garrus: happy to see him. Then wonder what happened to him, with the major attitude shift.
Thane, Samara: I don't think she would like their ideas on killing people, and their dissasociation from it.  Thane with his separation of the body and soul, Samara with her code.

Mordin: would respect his intelligence and being part of the STG.
Grunt: I could see her finding him cute? And maybe keeping an extra eye on him.
Tali: I think she would be happy to see, unless they start fighting over being loyal to Shepard and whatnot.
Jack: crazy and irrational.

Jacob: was actually in the 232 and he and Ash likely never met.  I even tried taking him to Horizon to see if they'd say something but nope.  We can only assume they haven't.  I think Ash would like Jacob a lot.  I think they would become close.
Miranda:  I think Ash would respect her but she wouldn't like her and it would take awhile for her to trust her.  They wouldn't get along.  Ash says what she's thinking.  Miranda has a more passive aggressive approach.  They wouldn't mesh well.
Legion:  She would have to trust Shepard's judgement, but she would disagree with having him there and she wouldn't trust him.
Garrus:  I feel like Ash and Garrus always got along in an adversarial kind of way.  They seem like the types to rib each other about things, but I think Ash trusts Garrus and she definitely respects him.
Thane:  I feel like Ash and Thane would actually have a lot to talk about considering their spirituality.  Thane is an assassin, but he's a redemptive one.  I sort of feel like they would bond.  
Samara:  She would have a great deal of respect for her.  Even if she doesn't agree that vigilante justice is the right thing.  I don't see them being friends, but having a healthy respect for one another.
Kasumi:  Oh man. Ash and Kasumi would be like gangbusters I think.
Zaeed:  Ash wouldn't trust him and she wouldn't think highly of him at all.  She'd think he was a pig.
Mordin:  Ash would be amused by him and in awe of his brilliance, but she would give him a hard time about calming the hell down and talking slower.
Grunt:  She'd make it pretty clear from the get go that she wasn't intimidated by him and I think that would force him to have some respect for her as a warrior.  They wouldn't be friends, but there would be respect.
Tali:  I always felt like Ash was kind of on the positive side of ambivilence about Tali.  She likes her sure, but they never bonded.
Jack:  I actually think Jack and Ash would get along.  They wouldn't be "friends" as much as two women who say whatever the f*ck they want.  Ash would know what she was getting with Jack and vice versa so it would be comfortable.  But she'd still think she was nuts.

Shepard is Grunt's battlemaster. And I don't think my Fred Shepard could be any sort of "mother" figure anyway.
