That's more of a catsuit then the outfit she's got now.

People are stupid.

I'm still curious over whether he hair is down just for the trial or if she's getting the Miranda treatment.

Is there a sign someone stating there can only be one woman in the galaxy with nice hair?

I must have missed it.

Never said Ashley shouldn't look good, but at the same time she's still a Soldier and it's common sense to tie up your hair before going into battle, not let it flow and glisten in the wind.

After Miranda strutted around the battlefield for a whole game wearing high heels any sense of realism like you're talking about went out the window.

Riiiiiight.

It even has heels and a conveniently placed zipper. It's a far cry from her original look in ME2 and standard heavy Phoenix armour.

Miranda was specifically designed to be eye candy though, hince the catsuit, the high heels, and the multiple ass shots. Just because they went overboard with fanservice with her doesn't mean the same should apply with the other female characters. I'm not demanding not to show Ashley's prett side, just to remember her character isn't the type to go out on the battlefield all dolled up.

That's the reason why her alternate outfit is worth the price. You don't have to be ashamed anymore if you take her with you to the battlefield :D

Maybe they learned their lesson after that.

For inexcusably shallow, typically-male reasons, I can't bring myself to "dislike" her new outfit. I will make no effort of denying. I agree that a more practical outfit would make far more sense for her character, but I don't dislike this one.

However, it's still more armor-like than Miranda's. It even seems to incorporate themes from the ME1 light armor, which were like wetsuits themselves, to be honest.

I agree, look when i saw the "new ash" picture in Game Informer I was playing the wait and see card.  Seeing her in action in part ok it works.  Lets see ash some ash action in the coming months and i think the debate will be based in more fact then speculation.

I'm a woman and I support Ash's new look. Don't hate. She's sexy. Always was. Woman could wear a potato sack and still be ridiculously hot. Let's be honest. The tight clothes aren't making that much of a difference in her hot factor.

I am glad to see Ashley back. I disliked her look in the game informer. Now I think it looks ok, but not better than her "classic" look.

Tighter armour/suit? Okay. That can be justified as some uber-special light armour, and the Alliance probably has the technology for it.

The heels? Not so much.

But that's being nitpicky. Ash is back, on the Normandy, where she belongs.

That basically sums up any of my complaints with her.

In addition to liking Ashley's new look, the Alliance troops are looking quite spiffy as well.

How do I always manage to end up being asleep when all the cool stuff comes along?
In any case, AWESOME, SCREENSHOTS OF ASH!!!
May I add for the record that she looks beautiful?

This is fantastic, finally in game footage confirming her in the game. I'm loving this.

Not only confirming her, but my god, she's the one who pulls your ass aboard the Normandy and saves it from Earth.  I won't lie.  Her helping Shep onto the ship made me teary.

Vega was there to help too, so I like him already.

I can't make out (mind is in the gutter :() what she said to him over Casey and that other dude when he first jumped on board though.

"Welcome back Commander" or something like that?

Oh did she actually say something? I heard her voice over the radio but not on the ship when she pulled him on.

Just listened to it again.  It does sound like she's saying "welcome back".  Not sure though.
