I'm still curious over whether he hair is down just for the trial or if she's getting the Miranda treatment.
Is there a sign someone stating there can only be one woman in the galaxy with nice hair?
I must have missed it.

I'm a woman and I support Ash's new look. Don't hate. She's sexy. Always was. Woman could wear a potato sack and still be ridiculously hot. Let's be honest. The tight clothes aren't making that much of a difference in her hot factor.

I'm a woman and I absolutely detest her new look. However, I'm willing to give BioWare the benefit of doubt for now. I don't want to wait for a repeat performance of having to download an appearance pack to take a long certain squadmates.

It's about being a soldier, that is true for Ash. Miranda is an in-between secretary/manager/shooter, so that's a different case.
But it's rather strange for a soldier to wear hair that covers her eyesight.
That was the point, I guess.

*shrug*
It's a game....it'd be a little boring if her hair is a bun ALL the time we see her...she looks beautiful now. She can still be her badass self and look good too.
Props to you Bioware.

Well, I think we have to remember the Reaper attack did happen pretty quickly, even Ash might not have had time to change.
Joker: We're coming in to get you Shepard!
Ash: Just a minute, need to put on my armor!

But alliance dude next to her has time to change? (Vega) I mean...it's not like he was likely to be standing around in armor beforehand either.

"Welcome back Commander" or something like that?
THIS. I'm sure she was just wearing that because she was on the normandy and not in combat, Hell SHEPARD was wearing some new fatigues and fighitng husks. Plus I noticed her shoulders are like Mordin's armor/labcoat and have armor. But yeah she could wear a trashbag or patato sack and She'd still be hotter than the galactic core.Badpie wrote...

I see your points Rose, but since I've been doing runs to perfect my Shepard's for this game, I noticed that the Light armor in Me1 was no moer than a catsuit with armor placed on certain spots. That and the knowledge of bioware publicly saying that you can customize your squds looks means that that might jsut be herdefault or low leveled appearance. Maybe you cna buy her or unlock new armor for her as she gets stronger in the leveling system like in ME1 with her heavy armor with some points in her armor power slot. Lets we not forget Shepard was on that mission in alliance fatigues (and had no shield because of it) so appearances seem to change throughout the game. No worries.SilverRose208 wrote...
Yeah... I'm not too fond of the new, revamped "Mirash" either, to be honest... Just puts me off as a female gamer. I'm having a hard time reconciling her ME1 badAshery with the glorified catsuit and Pink Power Ranger skirt. But, as long as no personality changes are made or gratuitous butt shots appear in game, I guess I'll be okay. Still, not too enthused about the new look, though.
e: Just read through some of the earlier posts, and I do agree with Badpie's point about Ash always being sexy. However, to me, it was more of a strong and subtle type of "sexy" - not nearly as in-your-face as what's being shown in the trailers. I feel like the revamp is pandering or a male fanbase, and I liked that she was understated and strong in ME1. This ... does not appear to be understated to me, as of yet. Personally, I feel that the new looks screams of trying to make her appeal more to male gamers, and I worry about what it means for her in-game personality. Hope the snark, strength, and wit are still there.

I'm thinking Ashley's new..umm...armor? outfit? (I don't know what to call it yet) will be optional come combat time. Maybe that's just wishful thinking, but I'd really love to see her in her Phoenix armor again. A lot...
