To be completely honest, I'd need to see a closer view of Ash's boots before I go "OMGWTFBBQ, high heels? I honestly see a slighly more pronounced version of a raised heel (standard on most combat boots).

That's a better pic, but the toe/front of the boot is flatter in the Ash pic, giving the whole thing more stability.  Basically, it looks to me, like combat boots, with a "feminine" styling.  I kinda disagree with that line of thinking, but the execution doesn't look terribad to me.  Again, I'll reserve judgement until I get a better screenie.

It doesn't really look like heels to me... The model seems to be the same as Mirandas AAP footwear, imo.

Also, I couldn't care less about what kind of shoes/boots she's wearing.

I really don't care, except for the fact that we had squadmates in ME2 running around on the battlefield in full on high frickin' heels for God's sake.  That's just stupid, and a horrible design choice on Bioware's part.  I really, really hope they don't put Ash in high heels, or my nerdrage will know no bounds.  She's a professional soldier, likely a Spectre in ME3, so she knows her stuff, and for her to be wearing high heels shows a complete lack of understanding of her character, in my opinion.

High heels in a dinner/romance scene with a smexy little black dress?  OMG yes.

High heels in a combat hardsuit in the middle of a firefight?  Oh, HELL no.

That's insulting to Miranda. Both women are incredibl talente din combat, both are incredibly smart (but Miranda has he edge since she's a tactician) Both don't take crap from anyone, and they both can handle themselves. They're on the same tier not one above the other.

Untrue, Miranda is superior in every way imaginable. That doesn't make Ashley bad though, she just can't compete with her for obvious reasons. (she's just so perfect *swoons*)

Not making any enemies either, not with me at least. Opinions, opinions. So long as you don't hate you're good.

In my opinion Miranda is all talk but no walk. Ash's wedged-elevated boots are made for walking.

EDIT: Argh, can't tell if sarcasm or not. First paragraph suggests so, second paragraphs doesn't. Guess I'll just have to watch E3. 31:40 The guy couldn't tell if Ash was new or not

I saw the moddifications screenie and I'm setting Ash up so that her weapons have tons of kick so that she can kill things with a few shots, but that might deplete the clip faster depending on how the mods effect the clip (like creating heating in ME1) She's replacing Garrus as the squad sniper for my team too. *remembers how good Ash was with high explosive ammo on her sniper*
