HA!.... Sorry, I just talked to a friend of mine and he is pretty steamed about the lack of Miranda in any of the trailers, going on and on about how much better than Ashley she is and stuff like that. It really makes me feel grateful to have Bioware stay true to their word about putting characters from ME1 back in the squad. I was optomistic and I was hoping that my fears wouldn't be realized, and now I think I will never have to face the horror of ME3 without its best character.
As I recall, they never said anything about promising that ME2 characters would be returning as Squad Members....

I think we could possibly hav eone of those movie moments where both Ashley and Shepard speak at the same time trying to apologize. Shep would be like "Let me talk" and Ash wouldbe like "With all due respect ma'am I should talk first" and after a little back and forth Ashley says what she has to say.

Untrue, Miranda is superior in every way imaginable. That doesn't make Ashley bad though, she just can't compete with her for obvious reasons. (she's just so perfect *swoons*)

I'd say that Miranda has the slight edge with her biotic training, but when it comes down to gun skills Ashley is superior.

Though to be fair, it seemed like they had a time schedule to keep. Plus the tail end of that cinematic gets spoiler-y, so there's that.

I know dammit.    They also said ME3 takes place roughly 6-12 months after the end of ME2.  I'm choosing to say 6 months.  I can't bear it to be longer knowing Shepley must reconcile.

They also said you can carry on playing after you finish the game. You might be able to interact with your LI in a similar way to that of ME2 after the main storyline ended. But im hoping for something better than just sitting on a sofa <_<.

Well since they don't ever really mention how much time passes in ME1 and 2 and this is a pretty broad span of time they just said I'm just gonna go with my own timeline.  But I think 3-6 months works.  Otherwise that whole kill 300,000 Batarians to buy us some time doesn't really feel like it matters..... oh wait...it didn't....

I like that so many Ash fans seem to be united on the batarian question. Although, I suppose this doesn't do much to combat the image of our girl/her supporters as racists. But the batarians deserve it.

I don't think so. I think about someting Kaidan said when thinking about this situation, every race has jerks. As much as people bash Batarians, you truly only ever run into one extremist, Balak.

My Shepard from Mindoir met many bad batarians ...  They killed her family, friends and left her for dead.
