yeah my canon femshep had the torfan backgorund and hates batarians. so it mattered too. She was like "DIE YOU BASTARDS!" then she imagined Ash shaking her head like "damn Skipper."

Stupid Batarians...  Sorry, I was just kinda pissed that Shepard had to blow them up like that.  I know it bought us, like, 72 hours and everything but it was just surpirsing to me how much that made me mad.  i mean, it went straight from Shepard getting knocked out to Shepard having to kill everyone, then get knocked out again, then commit Xenocide.
I don't know, I just don't want crap from people in ME3.

well they had to get a way fro ALL Shepard's to be on earth, so there's a trial on earthw hen the reapers attack. it also bought tons more time because they ahd to go from that star system at FTL speeds which is a b*tch since the nearest star cluster is ours from the viper system. Plus it gets us sexy Ash so I'm not complaining.

Buying that kind of time to hold off the Reapers attack at the expense of 300,000 Batarians is something everyone will soon understand once they actually arrive. I can imagine Shepard feeling pretty bad about what he had to do and while attempting to explain it to Ash on the way to the trial, her saying "You couldn't have done it any better Shepard. I know it. Anderson knows it. Now let's get you through this trial so we can make it count for somethi....."

Shepard cuts Ash off mid sentence and pulls her in for a long passionate ki.... *shakes head*

so how do you guyz want the final reconciliation to play out?what would you prefer to see,another love scene or something diffrent this time around?

I would not object to another love scene somewhere in the game, and I would prefer it to be after Shepard and Ashley have had "the talk" they so need to have. Come the end of it all though, I'd really love to see a "fast forward 5, 10, years" scene that shows how happy they are and in that segment see clips of what they've been up to for that time. Then at the end of all that... have a scene showing son or daughter of Ashley Williams and Commander Shepard graduating from N7 training or something along those lines. Following in the footsteps of his or her parents. That is all... For now.

i myself am hopeing for something less sexual and a little more emotionaly intimate.them getting togther in the final moments before the final epic clash,a scene when they finally vent completley how they feel about each other,espeacialy for shep beacuse we already heard ash say "i love you" or "i loved you" we have not had a chance to say it back to her

It will endup taking place in the Normandy cockpit....with Joker watching.

I like all the graphic improvements I saw in the demo and screenshots thereof. Ash looks great, although I do hope to see squaddies changing from "casual" to "business" attire as they go on mission.

The scene where we saw Ash looked like she was not player-controlled and it looked like Shepard was being bailed out of a situation where even Shepard was wearing "casuals". Perhaps Ash just didn't get a chance to "dress for business", and we'll be seeing her don some heavier armor as a squaddie.

I think a lot deeper conversations between Shep and Ash would be nice. Then to top it off mini skirt but not without dinner first of course.

Batlass I don't know if I told you this already but I adore that Jack banner. The way she delivers that line in ME2 was just so amazingly fun.

As for reconciliation:

I'm really kind of hoping it doesn't take the whole game to clear the air between them. Right from the get go I'd like a chance to talk it out with Ash. There are pressing matters so the idea that they don't really have time for lengthy conversation about their relationship is entirely plausible. I would like it to build pretty quickly though. I'd like to go through the game not so much re'wooing Ash but having an established real relationship. I think that would be interesting.

As far as love scenes go, I'm not really picky except to say I hope it's as lovely as the one from ME1. And dammit I want some pillow talk! So there.

Although I would like to have to spend more than one conversation rebuilding Shep's relationship with Ash, I would be unbelievably frustrated if that took up the entirety of the ME3 romance/friendship arc. Still, it's been two years (and then some). Shep doesn't really know what Ashley's been up to. I would like some "getting to know each other again," conversations. Not re-wooing, exactly, but maybe "relationship reconstruction?"

@Badpie: I can't take credit for the banner. Epantiras made one with a whole bunch of Jack quotes, and then gave me a capture of my personal favorite. I was torn between this and "parades are boring," lol.
