It's hard to tell the exact numbers. I mean you can't. You can't say Ash/Kaidan are not well liked. Obviously they are loved by lots of people. I feel like they get the brunt of negative feedback partially due to their characters and partially because of their roles in ME2. But haters are always louder so....

And I mean, does Tali really have that many fans or are they just all incredibly vocal? We can never know. I feel like the Ash fans for the most part are kind of relaxed, and therefore not as prominent on the radar.

I agree with this. For the msot part the Ash thread was quiet since she, and Kaidan, weren't in Mass Effect 2 beyond Horizon so there was really nothing to talk about. now htat we do have something to talk about the thread has spiked in Activity whereas the tali and garrus fanbases had all the MAss effect 2 things ot talk about as well as their characters become love interests. Plus you can't accutrately say which hcaracters have fans because Tali fans could like Ashley and Kaidan and visa versa. Or you ahve people liek me that like all the characters.

also add into the eqaution the millions of ppl who have played ME1 and ME2 and the fact that not even a fraction of that number even post on these forums as regulars or who dont even know such a social site even exists,think how  many of them could be ash and kai fans.

Exactly.  The only people who know for sure are the folks at Bioware with their magic stat gathering wizard machines.

the fact that bioware has given ash alot of attention in the pass few months and them stating numerous time that only the most well recived sqaudies will be returning full time tells me all i need to know on the matter of her popularity.

Personally, I'm very happy to see Ashley in demo footage, although it would be nice to see Kaidan in action just to see if he's shown using biotics...one of the things that bothered me about the cutscene when you arrive at Horizon is that he shoots an assault rifle just like Ashley does, instead of trying to use biotics. But I also want to see if Ashley is going to have another outfit for combat situations, so I'd be glad to see more of her coming soon.

I also must admit I want to see more of her new armor, so that I can draw it. Whether you're for or against it, you have to admit it will look cool in fanart...=D

I agree with what the others have said about not being able to judge a characters popularity by there fan threads, but its hard to ignore this bad boy. YIKES!

Now I want to see more Ash/Kaiden armor just for some more TZ fanart! Seriously you have some of the best Mass Effect Fanart out there.

i know right,shep has terriable dance moves.i mean for ME1 it was okay considering the light hearted tone of the first game but corny dance moves in ME3 would ruin the "EPIC END OF GALAXY" atmosphere there trying to go for.

Okay so squad make ups. What role is Ashley going to play in your squad in ME3?

For my Adept She'll be back in her tank/sniper role depending on how the enmy is she might get sent in to wipe them out with her AR (hopefully the revenant) or to cover him with her sniper rilfe. For my soldier though she'll be used to co op her skills and they'll both be mowing through cerberus troops and husks.

I almost always play as a soldier and i want Ashley on my team the whole time.  The whole time.  I sacrificed being able to open a lot of crates and crap in ME1 and stared at a picture in ME2 way too much to waste her potential by having her back on the Normandy the whole time.

i always play a soldier and since ash is also a soldier im assumeing ****s gonna get real nasty toe to toe in frontline assualts.
