Yes, they would appear to both be pretty much identical, much the same as the loyalty outfits in ME2 differed only in color from the defaults. While the recolors are nice to have, and this one in particular because the white and red is so much more Ashley than the blue, I am definitely looking forward to the promised armor and helmet for Ash.

a) it's something new(at leasrt to her, Tela Vasir wore it, but she doesn't do it justice quite like Ash does.)
It makes sense because she's a SpecTRe agent, and fits with the information Bioware gave us.
c) Practicality is still there.

@Zeuss: Oh my sainted aunts, that picture!!! There are not nearly enough human men wearing fanservice outfits in the Mass Effect universe. Now I have a whole new wishlist for ME3 alternate outfits!

As for the Williams sisters... I know Ash says that they had to be each others' friends growing up, but I have sisters and I find it hard to believe that the Williams women relationships are all sweetness. Does anyone think that there'd be some pretty awesome teasing/arguing/sniping with each other when you get them all together? Like, everyone makes fun of Abby for being spacey, and they're always trying to get Sarah to show the older ones some respect.... No? Just me?

Hmm, let me say this: While I would love to see a Shepard meets the family moment, I would be glad it's him meeting the family and not me.  Four Williams women (not counting Mama Williams), all in one place...

I agree completely. Imagine Ash's snarkiness timesd by four. Shep would be severely out numbered.

I know ME3 will be chock full of tragedy because it's full on galactic war and all that, etc. etc. I'm wondering how much personal tragedy they'll throw in for Shepard and the squad. I'm kind of hoping they stay away from that, honestly. I'd rather not, for instance have there be a chunk of game about Ash losing her family for example - things like that.

They mentioned awhile back that ME3 wouldn't be as "dark"(?) as ME2, which I sort of gleaned wouldn't be as melodramatic? Hoping that's the case. "Emotionally engaging" is fine. I just don't wanna be bogged down with Battlestar Galactica tone where every episode made you want to give up hope and just kill yourself.
