i like it that way ive maximized the games experiance to my personal taste.

thats the best path for me for my canon.

i did do a renagade playtrough once were almost every thing was opposite. blew through it in like 4 hours. have yet to import it to ME2 and bother playng with it.

Just seems like... you wouldn't have any reason to play it again if you keep everything the same every time. I mean, you could do one playthrough and have it exactly how you want and never play it again and get the same result. *shrugs*
whatever you like, though! XD

Also, if you have alternate shep's who aren't your canon... it seems like you'd want some different choices for them, no?

It's just curious to me. lol

thats why i take break periods were i dont play it for awhile silly goose.

besides i really love ME1 (ash is a big reason why i do) imagine have a near perfect gameing experince and if you can maybe you will understand why i play it like that,i dont need to fix what isnt broken; its my mass effect canon. similar to like playing halo or call of dutys  campaign every time you play it it never changes but you love it so much you dont mind.


anyway topic time,since we know nothing about ashleys time after ME1 until ME3 other than shes become a spectre do you guys think at somepoint in time after helping save the citadel ash became something of a celebrity in council space?

More likely a celebrity in the Alliance. They are the ones who put forward people to be considered for Spectre. Ash proved that she could get things done and survive.

well i mean more of a media celebrity; they did make shepards hunt for saren and the battle of the citadel into a movie.do you think at any point she was in the media spotlight.even in todays society soldiers who do extrordinary things sometimes get alot of spotlight. and ash saved the galaxy and dated shepard a huge celebrity in his own right.

I'm aware of the meaning that was an "ah yes" quote. There's no division between Ash/Kai fans unless someone makes a pint to state that there is. To talk about one is to talk about the other, some specifics not withstanding.

Also Leaving ash on Virmire doens't make you any less of a fan. you get an unlimited amount of PT's and it's a Role Playing game. Go nuts! Kill people. Spare people. etc.

maybe in your perspective but to me the fact that were two seperate fanbases for two different charecters makes me think different.

also idc if anybody in here kills ash on virmire,i was just messing around.

I suspect the bulk of Ash's celebrity fame would have been in Alliance space. Maybe some in citadel space. But most races would spotlight the people from their own races.  Liara for the Asari, Garrus for the Turians, Wrex for the Krogans, Tali for the Quarians (if they are even interested). Ash's name would probably be known. But the Asari or Turians or any other race would not be naming schools after her or making monuments to her like might happen in Alliance space.

I'd think she is a celebrity of sorts. Delan calls her an Alliance hero IIRC along with Shepard. The alliance would be using her as a hero figure as well in shepard's absences as Jacob said she was only used for 6 months mostly as a composite image (default Jane or Sheploo) when that ran it's course I think Ash and Kai became the new face of the Alliance after Shepard was revealed dead (since damn near everyone comes acorss Shepard says "you were dead!". It'd make sense to send them to Horizon for the "outreach program" because ow better to build relationships than a popular Hero.

Not to side-step the current conversation, but does anyone have a really good collection of Ash screenshots they're willing to share? I've been trying to get better at image editing & manipulation by making banners lately,so far it's been for the other characters because I don't have much for Ash.

I'd really appreciate it.

Well knownuntil going undercover for possible Spectre activity. The fame wouldhave been mostly after Shepard dies and when the fame was gone, there'd just be hard assignments and stealth missions. The only reason shepard was all over the place was because she was helping people and that would have a ripple effect thatis ahrd to keep quiet.
I wouldn't be surprised if Some of the VS's actions end up being tied to Shepard's ME2 activities but it was kept secret from the public, like the Reapers.
