Yeah she always talked about the damn ship and it's crew lol, always being groundside made her very excited to be on the Normandy. Joker sound's like a hoot to be around! Most of the time she just talked about Shepard. Other than that it was just catching up.

So, Sarah - what does Ash like to do in her spare time, you know, when she's not killing things or being badass?

Well theres her poetry, she will visit Dad, i go to see him in my own time and give Ash privacy. We get the girls together watch a movie, go out for a drink, take mom out for a meal, all the usual stuff really.

Sniper Rifle or Shotgun, which is Ashley Williams BoomStick?

I have to say myself that the Sniper Rifle is Ashley Boomstick....I mean she and drill you in between the eye's at 100 meters or more.

But sniper rifles don't 'boom'.... Still, I would go with the sniper rifle myself, noises aside.

It has always been her shotgun for me. She calls it thumper. Since some have called her a bible thumper.

Clearly it´s the assault rifle. Good for long, medium and short range combat. She turns into a one woman army with it. Or maybe it´s a human battering ram, still not decided on that one.

I concur with this. This is all Ash uses in my games.

I had to vote Ashley because she was the most different out of the others.  She could hold her own while the others were often shown with signs of major weaknesses throughout those games (Jade Empire, Dragon Age and KOTOR)

I mean it was kind of the point of Ashley to not be like the others, much like Alistair wasn't suppose to be like Kaidan/Carth.

I'm not surprised by the current figures. Ash and Morrigan are up and away the obvious choices. Both are self-determined characters, fully capable of and comfortable with charting their own courses, regardless of the approval or disapproval of others. One of the things that especially draws me in about Ashley.

Regarding Ash having a role in a big cinematic scene where she saves Shepard's life -

I, uhmm, kind of hate the idea. I think she's better than something so contrived as the Savior of the Savior of the Galaxy. Bless her, she's so normal, and that's part of what I love about her. Turning her into some big goddum hero like Shepard would break my heart. Let him be a cartoony Hercules - that's fine - but keep Ash human.

Anyone have thoughts?

I like the idea of her saving Shepard but i want her to remain normal at the same time. Something like Ash save's Shepard but she wont be alone, she will be in charge of an Alliance squad who all work together and save Shepard, making her come off as a hero, but normal at the same time.

Ehh, as much as I like the idea of Ash saving Shep's life, in just about any circumstance I'm able to imagine it would come across as way too contrived, if not altogether impossible given the limitations of the RPG system they have in place.

Perhaps it could go down something like this: Ash and the crew of a new Normandy-class vessel (SSV Omaha, perhaps...) come to the aid of Normandy SR-2 during some naval engagement with some enemy, possibly at the beginning of the game.

I actually want Ash to save Shep in some way. In ME2 Shep kinda felt like wood. He didn't have good dialog talking to Ash. So Ash how you been? Face palm. His own death didn't bother him. Should have had two S's on his armor for Super Shep. Faster than speeding feelings, able to leap emotional entanglements in a single bound, yada yada. So him not always having the answers or the way out is ok for me. Ash wouldn't have to be super soldier. Just in the right place at the right time. The locker scene in ME1 shep is down and upset, Ash comes to show she stands with him and to pick him up.I don't want Conrad Shepard but depending on or getting help from someone you love is a good thing.
