This..........is the attitude of the game developers? Hmm......it doesn't bode well for Our Ash. imo

So much for all their talk about an "Epic space saga ten years in the making." Even bioware management admits the trilogy is a farce.

You could say the previous games were just a preamble to this moment. Everything has been building to this. It's like the Superbowl. Who cares what happened in the regular season? Now's the one that matters."

This was, in my opinion an unfortunate turn of phrase, but it isn't as bad as people are making it sound either. In American rules football (for those unfamiliar with the game) In the Championship game (the Superbowl) what happened during the season isn't important right now. It certainly was important then, and the events during the season led up to this game, but it's the Superbowl that matters right now.
He was hyping ME3, not dissing ME1&2. I can see how people could see it that way, but it's not intended to be that way, in my opinion.

I've seen that quote in the IGN Article, and it's being taken slightly out of context. I'm going to agree here. In context, that is exactly what he is saying. Having said that, there are a great number of people who do care about what happened in the regular season if their team is NOT in the Superbowl and could care less about the Superbowl. Bad analogy on the Canadians part.
Such statements discount those who played the games up to this point and folks don't like being treated as if they or their dollars are/were insignificant. That kind of rhetoric constantly communicated to the public does not give loyal players the warm fuzzies. It makes you feel taken for granted. There is little mention in their statements about being grateful to those who have supported the series thus far.
I know that there are people who could care less and will scoop up whatever EA and Bioware feeds them. More power to them.

But then that discounts the whole point of hockey teams playing against each other, as well as the prior playoffs, before the Stanley Cup final.
I can see the point hay and khe have, but I think the language that BioWare has been using to pump up ME3 as a standalone game can degrade and disregard the previous games in the ME trilogy a whole lot less.

reviving the 1.1 to tell all non-me3 thread posters that Ashley is not a lieutenant, but a lieutenant COMMANDER. She is officially the same rank as shepard. She's Commander Williams now! YES!
Did you see that Ash is a lieutenant commander in the leaked demo?

Aw God, no... Shepard is like "nothing happened". Cold fish again. I just don't get it, Why BioWare is doing this...? He has her picture on a desk, but he still acts like he didn't meet her before. Ridiculous. Silly. Don't know what else to say. :/
Anyway thx for this video.

I wonder who'd win in a fight between Ashley and Agent Texas form RvB.
Tex is an Android Ghost with super strength and commando training. Also has 700 years of experience considering the whole time-warp thing that may or may not be canon.
Then again, she's destined to fail so maybe Ash has a chance?

Don't worry, it's still in Beta and that was a non-romanced Ash, so I assume we would get a better reunion
