No, I agree.  I like a couple of the ME2 characters enough to want to see them around in ME3.
Thanks.   Yeah still around, I lurk more now though.  I've been trying to sketch an Ash, but I fail mostly, like I do with most characters.   Here is the one I doodled today at lunch.  I wish I could figure out what makes the characters look the way they do.

Do want.  Do want badly.  However, I'm worried that if it's in DLC, it won't be part of the story cannon because they generally try to keep in mind that not everyone will buy the add-ons ... but I would.  I'd buy it 6 times over if I could if it contained Ash.

Edit:  Indigo - a) I steals Shepley.  I enjoy it when names are smushed together tabloid-style.... They're the future's Brangelina!    The lack of tinfoil miniskirt sketch makes me haz a sad ... on behalf of the boys here ... *shifty look*  Yes..... the boys.

Yeah thats why I thought he could be talking about a Ash DLC.

 most of us thought the same thing when we saw it,would make sense if they did.whiether the devs consider ash an imoprtant charecter or not she still has a plot that needs to be tied up LI or not.they cant just ignore her espicialy since thiers a sizable fanbase that wants too see her return.

if that video has any weight at all then we should get something.of course it could have just been crapy editing.

There still is the rumor of a "Romance Pack" DLC. It hasn't been confirmed, mush less talked about. Wouldn't give my hopes up for it though; it's Mass Effect afterall, not Romance Effect.

Ah, Zeuss ... they should let you do the writing for Shepard. These words would fit so much better. And thank's for the nice words you had on my postings.

It's a pain one has to sleep from time to time, the discussion has way moved on since the post I quoted, so I give my two cents on the topic of Ash-DLC as well.
I'm quite worried with the thought, that Ash's story might be resolved by DLC. I think it would usually mean she wont play a major role (if at all) in ME3. Its actually the same worries I have with the Leliana DLC they announced for Dragon Age. There is so many Leliana fans (and I'm one of them), they give us a DLC, but probably they wont give us Leliana in DA2. They wont do a Morrigan DLC, because most likely she plays a major role later.
If it means we get the DLC with a recruitment+loyalty mission for Ash, and she will then stay in our squad for ME3 I'm all for it. They could still let ME3 start with Ash allready recruited for those who didn't buy the DLC ...
Let's see how it turns out to be. Right now I can't get any DLC anyway.

i really hope they bring her and my other favs back for one more hurrah.id hate for ash to show up once or twice in ME3 for cameos sake and battle the reapers in the final battle with just liara and another sqaud of newbies.

Yikes, let's hope not. It'd be pretty disappointing to the fans.

Right with you there. I'm hoping for the best, and from what I've seen, BioWare hasn't failed with their ME2 DLC recently. Chances are that I'll be pleasantly surprised if an Ash DLC is released.

I see the upcoming Leliana DLC for DAO as a good sign regarding the likelihood of Ash dlc. It shows that they are willing to release content that does not focus on the PC but his/her squadmates. [wishful-thinking]And BW announced it only 4 weeks ins advance, so maybe it´s in development already, we just don´t know it yet.[/wishful-thinking]

I'm not sure, DAO DLC has nothing to do with ME DLC planning I would think. Also I'm not sure I'd like "playing as" anyone else then Shepard, you'd have all kinds of opportunity to make Ashley OOC.

I may be in the minority here, but I really don't want to play as Ash ... if they make Ash DLC, that is.  I'd rather view the relationship through Shepard's eyes, since it ties in better to ME2 and what I hope will be covered in ME3.  The only thing I could see would be if you get to play as Ash for that two year interim and see what she went through - that I'd be interested in.  It would be pretty jarring to see something like Horizon from her POV in a 'cannon' sense.  It would make it harder for me to identify with and play as Shep, since I absolutely hate his dialogue options and already think he's sorely in the wrong.
