For any CG characters or people with a lot of makeup (so much that you can't even tell it's the origional actor) then they should just use the voice actors that actually played them in the games.

I would like to see some relatively new/unknown actors for ME3. Why does there need to be someone who everyone sees over and over again. I like the George Lucas concept of getting one or two well known actors and the rest being good actors that nobody has heard of yet.

Suited/CGI aliens that can be done by the same VA as the game (physical acting can be done by proxy):

Admiral Shala'Raan - Shohreh Aghdashloo

Kal'Reegar - Adam Baldwin

Mordin Solus - Michael Beattie

Admiral Daro'Xen - Claudia Black

Grunt - Steve Blum

Legion - DC Douglas

EDI - Tricia Helfer

So really, the only people you'd have to *cast* for an ME 1/2 movie would be the ones whose VAs don't typically do regular acting, or who don't look anything like their character. I have some ideas, but I don't know who could fill most of these shoes, especially Shepard's. Yes, technically you could hire Vanderloo to *look* like him, but I doubt the guy has ever acted before.



Thane - Timothy Olyphant. Hitman credentials for the movement/character, rest could be done with makeup.

Jack - Natalie Portman could pull off the look (see V for Vendetta). Could she pull off the act?

Ashley - Michelle Rodriguez - I can't see anyone else doing Ash, honestly.

Kaidan - Mario Lopez, sad to say, but he's perfect for the role.

Kasumi - Chiaki Kuriyama (Gogo from Kill Bill Vol. 1).

Samara - I know the look would be off a bit off, but I'm thinking Cate Blanchett could nail the personality.

Morinth - Tilda Swinton (Witch from the Chronicles of Narnia). Always thought she was Cate Blanchett's evil twin.

Liara - I have no idea... drawing a complete blank.

Udina - Edward James Olmos. He could bring depth and subtlety to the role beyond the '****' persona.



and of course, Shepard. I'm afriad they'd probably pick Sam Worthington for this, just because of his recent sci-fi exploits. Hopefully they'll cast an unknown who can do the job well.
