This is the only thing I disagree with, it won't work. Admiral Adama (his role in BSG) hates that kind of poeple that Udina is and everytime I would see him I will think "Admiral Adama dissapproves of this action".
That's the problem with using actors that are known from their role in anothe movie/series, you will be always reminded of that role.

And also his voice won't fit Udian in any way, it's to different from his VA (and also too badass for Udina)

Simple: Every single voice actor has to be their own actor....Unless they do it right and go with computer animated movie, which would leave alot more space for effects and all that BS.


Other than that.... I duno about JOker.... Either Seth Green, or Ryan Reynolds, fit the vill. both are funny, sarcastic, I wana punch them in the face kind a actors.

PS: I strongly, recommend they do it on computer animation.......movies and movies are further and further getting out of the scope that you can actually portray, more and more computer animation comes into play, and in the same sense, actors are more and more an obstacle to movies going further.


You can make an Intro for ME2.....make a movie, in the same way, everything in computers. There isn't a movie I know that has done it... I think .

Movies are getting far too big for actors to fully define the story behind them.

Shepard does not cry.

I don't like selecting casting, people tend to pick look-alikes instead of actors who could pull off the role.

There's a very realistic chance that the original voice-actors audition for their respective roles and still not get it (hell, they might not even call them). It depends a lot on how much "power" the Bioware guys will have, and how stupid the hollywood folk will be (my guess is "little" and "very").

I don't want to see Shepard portrayed as some generic military type, even though he is the game. They can make a more emotional Shepard IMO, and I do actually think Matthew Fox could pull it off.

As someone stated earlier, I think Sam Worthington would make a decent MaleShep. That actor's extremely good at being a well, a man on a mission, even if he's not quite sure what it is at the time.

Wrong.  If the movie is about Shepard, it won't be a Shepard the majority of the audience identifies with.  He will act out of character with the way people played him.  If he's paragon, then the renegades won't see him as Shepard, or vice versa.  Same with portraying Shepard as male as opposed to female. 

Absolutely nothing involving Shepard or his crew can be involved if this movie will succeed.

Edit:  Or it'll be another crappy Video Game to movie adaptation that deviates so far from character that people that actually play the games will not enjoy.  In other words, just another piece of crap like the Resident Evil or Doom series.

Yes - those 4 RE movies and counting - its crap to you but its cash to suits.



Watch and see as info comes out - it will be about Shepard - He will be Badass (with Paragon motives) - most if not all side missions will be dropped and it will most likely be the story of ME setting up the trilogy.



You may get some scenes of TIM / Miranda / Jacob but that will be to setup future movies.



People who read Anne Rice novels and Xmen comics etc all say the same thing but how were the movies made - not for the die-hard fans.
