There is a suit of armour that you pick up in Awakenings after you acquire the spirit dude. The armour, I forget it's name, is nearly all black with some red on chest etc. It also has a winged helmet, like the effort helmet, which is black with a ridiculous red dot right between the eyes.

Now I am using a mod called, CachItemPack,  that adds a vendor to DAO that sells numerous copies of this armour and I want to use it but I can't stand that red dot. So I am hoping someone could just paint over the red dot with black for me pls and send me the tex file.


Hoping this can be done...

If you are able to bring a custom texture into the game then I'm sure you're able to paint over a red dot

Believe me, I would try and do it myself but I am unable to install the toolset on my machine. I have tried many times, the info I found whislt researching it said it doesn't like XP SP3.



The mod I am using is NOT my mod, I d/l it from here.

You don't need the toolset to modify an item's skin.



Use DA Tool (follow instructions in the readme): http://social.biowar...oject/41/#files



Then drop the reskinned model files in your C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core\\override



Hopefully that override folder also overrides Awakening stuff, I'm not sure. If it doesn't then try creating an override folder in C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Dragon Age\\packages\\core_ep1

Thx for tring to help Kilrogg_, but I know nothing of modding at this point. I d/l it but AND read the readme but it wont open a dazip file and a lot of it makes no sense to me, sorry.

I had figured that this would be an easy job for someone who knew what they were doing and that someone would help me out. Maybe I was being too optimistic.

Again, I appreciate your assistance but I don't know how to do this. That is why I was/am hoping to find someone generous enough to do this for me.
